D5300 DSLR Camera in Black with 18-55mm AF-P VR Lens

I think it's important to note most cameras sharing this cameras price range were all once upon a time extremely expensive. I am a student and even this was a huge investment for me but I am 110% happy with it. I recommend with the money left you purchase a good lens, its probably just as important as the camera itself. I had a budget and I 50/50 it with both the camera and lens. You don't need a professional level camera if you are still learning, a good photographer can make do with any camera. This was a good choice for me. There are many tutorials on how to use this camera online, it is extremely beginner friendly and it comes with an all be it standard lens. The items came securely packaged too. Warranty is included.

Had the camera a few weeks now, and I am very impressed. Images are impressive and there is only a tiny amount of lag when shooting raw images. I am heavily disabled, but the D5300 is light and compact, the lens supplied is good for general photography and will in the right cicumstance take good close ups, later I will add the 55-300mm and that will for me be all the lens I need. Most of the time when out I use the camera with the screen shut as the information I need is supplied in the viewfinder, and being that I was used to an FE2, the back screen apart from setting up, is of no use to me, excepting for low shots as I cannot get out of my wheelchair.. Included are some pictures I took in the first two days of ownership

I bought this as a long-overdue upgrade for my Nikon D60. Wonderful camera, and was perfect for my trip to Japan in September. I'm not really much of a camera buff, only having used a few older Nikons, but the option to turn the GUI on/off was useful, and the built-in GPS/GPS-logging was fantastic. I'm considering using this for surveying jobs with work, due to the high-quality of the photos taken and the ability to trace everything with the GPS features.

Bought this for my daughter as a present. She had done a lot of research on various makes and this came out on top in her view. Excellent camera for the price. Easy to purchase. Arrived on timed. Recommended.

I have had owned this camera for several years. It has been largely superseded by the slightly lighter 5500 and the 5600 with slightly improved specifications, both of which feature touch-screen technology. The main advantage of the 5300 is its built in GPS facility. This GPS unit works alright within the usual constraints, although a few high-end external devices which are Nikon compatible do work better. In my opinion the asking price for a 5300 import is way too high.

Complete novice and wanted a decent camera which produces good quality photos and easy to use. Very pleased with this camera.

Compré esta cámara con un poco de miedo. Llevaba intención de registrarla en Nikonistas y veía muchos comentarios diciendo que no se permitía. Al comprarla elegí a Amazon como vendedor y, aunque el precio era unos pocos euros superior a la opción más barata, valió la pena. No tuve ningún inconveniente al registrarla en la web de Nikonistas. Respecto a la calidad del producto, es una cámara muy buena. Se trata de mi primera cámara réflex (aunque ya tengo algunos conocimientos previos de fotografía) y la veo perfecta para lo que necesito a un precio muy asequible, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta los precios y características de productos similares de otras marcas u opciones más nuevas como la D5500 o la D5600. En definitiva, buena calidad de imagen, no es demasiado grande y la pantalla abatible es una gozada. Un diez.

Just got my camera in the mail, it came much faster than the estimated dates. I bought this camera as a beginner photographer and it has been so much fun.. I am able to take wonderful pictures but I can tell there is still plenty for me to still learn.

Ich liebe meine Kamera! Ich habe zwar lange drauf gespart aber sie ist jeden Cent wehrt. Auch bei mir war die Anleitung nicht auf deutsch, aber ich wusste es vorher und habe mir die Anleitung schon ausgedruckt. Komisch in Deutsch ist Die Anleitung gleich viiiiiel dicker ^^. Zur Kamera: Für Anfänger hervorragend. Allerdings ist es kein Automatisches Objektiv. Aber man findet für wenig Geld gute Gebrauchte im Foto Fachhandel. Ich habe lange gebraucht um mich zu entscheiden aber ich bereue keine Entscheidung. Das Display ist drehbar und super praktisc. Die Aufnahmen sind wundervoll und super klar. Es gibt so viel Spielerein und es ist einfach wundervoll mit der Kamera ständig unterwegs zu sein :) Also ich kann sie nur empfehlen!!

J'ai craqué lors de la promo Amazon pour ce superbe appareil photo. Je ne suis pas une pro, j'avais juste envie d'un produit assez performant pour immortaliser les instants passés avec ma fille, et ce, même quand elle bouge énormément ! Les + du produit: _La qualité des photos: on a le choix entre de nombreux paramètres, tout à fait accessibles pour les débutants. (mode sport, bébé, portrait, portrait de nuit, aliments, animaux etc). Même en mode AUTO, les photos sont très belles; _La mise au point automatique en cliquant légèrement sur le déclencheur. _On peut faire également a propre mise au point en tournant la bague sur l'objectif. _L'objectif, d'ailleurs, est amovible. On peut décider de le ranger sur le coté, et on a des caches pour les protéger. _Des objectifs plus performants au niveau du zoom se rachète, si on veut prendre des photos d'insectes, ou alors zoomer au maximum. (On en trouve sur AMZ pour environ 90€) _IL fait wifi, et envoie directement les photos prises sur votre ordinateur après l'avoir configuré. _ on peut le fixer sur un pied. _ Ergonomie. Les - du produit : _On doit faire attention au cache présent sur l'objectif. En effet, après l'avoir enlever pour prendre les photos, on doit prendre soin de le ranger car il n'y a mas de ficelle pour le tenir accroché. Pour les maladroits et têtes en l'air, c'est un coup à le perdre. _Le capot de batterie est dur à ouvrir si comme moi, vous vous rongez les ongles et avez des moignons ! En conclusion, c'est un bon produit, pour un prix tout de même intéressant. Pour faire des photos encore plus belles, il faudra apprivoiser la bête et comprendre les réglages un peu plus poussés (focal,et vitesse). Poiur l'instant je ne me suis pas encore lancée là dedans.
