Works well, feels like a quality item
It's a simple thing, not too much to say. It fits the lens and camera well with nearly no play and I can't tell that it leaks any light. I thought it seemed bulky, but it has to hold the Nikon lens out at a very specific distance so it can pretend it's feeding light into an even bulkier DSLR.

Put a Nikon lens on your Fuji!
All comments pertain to the Nikon-to-Fuji X-mount version. The adapter does exactly what it is said to do -- allow use of Nikon M mount lenses on a Fuji X series body. Note this version will NOT work with G-series Nikon lenses. Those are the ones without an aperture setting ring; there is a different version available for those. Both the camera-adapter fit and the adapter-lens fit were good. Easy to mount and to remove. Everything felt secure with no wiggle. That sums up about all that is claimed. For those not familiar with the product: There is NO autofocus. There is NO aperture control between the body and the lens. Despite the above, taking photos is actually pretty easy. The first step is to go into the Fuji menu and select "Shoot Without Lens" and set it to "ON". Exposure - You can either set the camera to manual exposure and use it just like you were using a Fuji lens. Or you can set the shutter speed dial to "A" and use it like "aperture priority". You loose some information that is normally in the viewfinder but the exposure aspect of shooting is otherwise pretty much like you get with a Fuji lens but without shutter priority. Focus - Manual focus only. If you are using a Nikon wide angle using the distance markings next to aperture ring may be all you need. I don't find my purely visual focus very accurate - you may. A better way to use focus peaking. (On my X-E1 you need to update to the latest firmware and be sure the focus mode is set to M.) Try this on your Fuji before your buy the adapter to be sure you and focus successfully. If you find this doesn't work for you using a Fuji lens there is no value to buying the adapter. (PS: I find manual focus of a Nikon lens on the Fuji is easier than manual focus on a Nikon body!) Why would one want to use a Nikon lens on a Fuji X? A- you own one or more Nikon lenses and you are just naturally frugal. B- You are not fully committed to moving to mirrorless body and don't want to commit buy buying a bunch of lenses yet. C-There are certain capabilities the Fuji lens line up lacks: 1:1 macro, exotic features like the Nikon's DC lenses or tilt/shift lenses. D- you have some non-AF Nikon lenses (Ai-S) and focus peaking manual focus works better than what your Nikon body offers. Much of this probably applies to other mounts such as Canon, M42 etc as well as to Nikon B- you are making the transition to mirrorless but are not sure yet

Nicely made, works well
For the price, this adapter gets the job done. Not really much to say. The fit and finish is okay - not world class but it's a pretty inexpensive piece of gear - currently about USD26 and a good buy at that price. It adapts Nikon F-mount lenses to the Fuji X-mount. Do note that if you use Nikon "G" lenses, you should get the "G" adapter, since it has a mechanism to adjust aperture. This adapter does not; you use the aperture on the lens barrel.

Way too tight
The adapter works, but the nikon f mount end is way too tight. I felt like I was going to damage my lens trying to put it on.

If you're willing to do a few quick mods, this adaptor is well worth the meager $20 or so dollars.
Decent build quality, and very reasonable price! The one issue I had was that the three retention springs that put tension onto the lens to keep it from rattling and wiggling on the adaptor were putting way too much tension on the lens. I took out all the screws and placed the springs flat on a table, and used a flat bottle cap to flatten them out a little. Once reassembled (with some added blue Locktite on the screws for added security), I can mount and dismount my Nikon lenses with ease. The only other minor issue I've found is a VERY minor light leak around the gap where lens mounts to adaptor, but I have not noticed any negative effects in my images even when shooting in direct sunlight or shining a very bright flashlight onto the gap. If you're willing to do a few quick mods, this adaptor is well worth the meager $20 or so dollars.

Perfect fit, but a little quirky on first use
Easy and inexpensive way to get old Nikon F-mount glass to work with my Fuji XT-1. Its solid metal and feels well built and sturdy. Because of the very tight fit which ensures no light leaks and proper focusing capability, I would highly recommend that this adapter stays on whatever lens you put it on to avoid damage especially if you have made the complete leap to Fuji X. Note the little side locking knob may be a little tough to budge the first time. Mine was anyway and it seems other reviewers had the same problem. I had to take a small pair of pliers to pop it from its stuck position. You need to hear a click to ensure its locked. If you don't hear it, don't let go of the lens until you get the side knob unstuck. Once I got the knob to slide up and down properly, everything has been fine since. Just remember, this will neither pass any information to the camera nor receive any information from the camera. This means auto-focus and auto-aperture won't work. Your lens will be a complete manual lens. It also means lens information like aperture or focal length will not be recorded in the image's metadata. If you want that information, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way by taking notes and manually inputting the information with your post-processing software. I'd definitely recommend this to expand your Fuji X lens selection and to be able to continue using some of your favorite glass.

Simple to use and delivers great results using my Nikon lenses on my Fuji XT-10. Thanks to this adapter, I can use my macro lens to take great shots. It is easy to attach lenses to and from the mount adapter and it is easy to attach to the camera body. Depending on your camera, you may be able to do adjust some settings (as was the case with mine). The only caveat is with newer lenses made to be used with an AF motor. On these lenses, there is little or no friction when you move the focus ring. It can be difficult to be precise. But, this has nothing to do with this product.

It works perfectly fine. arrived in original packaging. but box look a little beat-up. That being said the adapter didn't any issues, scratches or dings and as of now its doing its job quite alright.
