Great price for a great product!
Bought the chair for a taller friend with foot neuropathy who needed a recliner with a separate footrest. First, the two boxes were very sturdy and well packed. The chair was easy to assemble with the minimum of parts. The result was a very well made, strong and comfortable chair. I think this shows just how well organized and proud the manufacturer is of their product. I am very impressed. Thanks!

Perfectly fine. Looks really great.
Well... I almost wrote a bad review for a perfectly good chair. I made a mistake when I went to put the armrests on, and just to be sure that I wasnt about to get assaulted by the internet, I went back to the instructions for a fourth time just to be sure I didnt miss something. Anyways, I'm just going to leave the origional review as its, because it still has some good information in it. I have one complaint about this chair. The seams all look like my 200lb *** is going to tear them apart. They do not look sturdy enough for the average 6.2' male. If I am wrong, I will come back and fix the review, probably. I actually really like the look of the chair. When I picked up the boxes from the porch I could tell that this was going to be a rough experience. I know my UPS driver and she's very good so I dont thing the boxes had anything to do with her. However, the way the box was taped made me immediately think that this was a returned product from an unsatisfied customer. All of the screws and washers were thrown into the same bag together and they were wrapped in a way that made it look like Ronald Weasley just pulled them out of his sweaty pocket on the train to Hogwarts. I'm a smart guy, I can separate by size and shape and count up to the quantity on the instructions. Honestly, none of this really bothered me. The chair looks really good and will fit really well for what I had planned for it. That was until I went to attach the armrests. There are holes drilled into the bottom of the armrests, and the top of the chair fixtures that they are supposed to be screwed onto... There are two 8" x 2" plates that go in between the armrest and the fixture on the chair. They are important! If I believed that this chair could hold up to 200lb for at least 3 hours a day and last for at least 2 years, then I'd give it 5 stars. It looks great. It's comfortable. I just cant attest to its durrability.

High Quality Chair
This chair is very well made and a high quality piece of furniture. I bought it on the chance it might be nice and got very lucky because it is nice. It’s sits firmly but comfortably. It’s now my favorite and will continue to be for as long as I’m here! Great sitting chair!

Quality piece of furniture.
I'm sitting in this wonderful reclining chair with my feet on the ottoman as I write this review. It went together fairly easy with the included instruction booklet. I had to get help in putting the back on or I needed some extra hands holding. The leather is a very good quality. I'm extremely happy with this chair. Armrests are also padded, so soft. It looks so very expensive. The packaging was so good, not a chance for damage.

Less than what I was expecting.
This is a serviceable chair, but lacked the kind of quality I was expecting for the money. Shortly upon opening the boxes, I noticed the frame of the chair was bent, making assembly a full on nightmare. Add to that the truly horrible instructions and the useless Allen wrench and even more useless crescent wrench (use your own tools, if you can) included for assembly, and my chair and I got off to a very bad start. Now that it's assembled and been in use for about a week, I think I can fairly assess its overall value and quality. I went with the chenille for the simple reason that leather is only good quality at a much higher price point. So to avoid the annoyance of cracked and faded leather (plus I don't find leather all that comfortable particularly in winter, when it's cold to the touch), chenille -- a fabric I like for its comfort, wear, and feel -- worked for me. I chose grey, which may have been a mistake with the dark brown wooden frame. The swivel is a bit rough, as the ball bearings feel as if they need oil. The reclining mechanism is pretty poor, with so-called "micro-adjustment knobs" can best be described as useless. (That may be because the frame is bent, it's difficult to say.) All in all, a disappointment. I should have listened to myself and gone to an actual furniture store. I might have paid more, but it would have been worth it for the quality.

Good size for smaller person.
This requires quite a bit of assembly. I am not a large person and so this is a very comfortable sitting chair for me. Lots of back support. Nice upholstery.
