This RENPHO sound machine is very similar to a Homecube machine that I bought for my bedroom, to help distract from tinnitus and provide a relaxing environment for sleep. The two machines have the same sound samples and are functionally similar but different shapes. Having been impressed with the Homecube, I bought the RENPHO for another room. This review therefore repeats much of my review of the Homecube.The RENPHO has a nice design with up-pointing speaker and buttons enclosed by a ring of light. Out of the box, it was larger than I expected and seemed fairly weighty with good-quality construction. It can be charged from a USB source in relatively short time, a couple of hours or so, and lasts a reasonable amount of time on one charge, possibly several hours, although this may depend on the features used. The device is fairly easy to use.The machine has a good number and variety of sounds (29 in all). I have no interest in the white noise and fan sounds, of which there are many, but some people may find them useful. The main attraction for me is the natural sounds, of which there are 15. Not all are to my taste, but for my use I like the birdsong, waves, campfire, thunderstorm, stream and ticking clock. The lullaby and music-box are nice, but more for use with children. The sounds are supposed to be non-looping - I'm not sure whether this is strictly true as there could be some random repetition of the same sounds. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a small unit. You might expect the sound to be tinny, but it is not - for example, you can clearly hear the rumbling of the thunder.The light is another nice feature. You can have it on or off, and choose a colour. Some colours work well with the sounds - for example, the red light with the campfire sound provide a warm and cosy feel, which I can imagine as nice to have on just while sitting during the Winter.The sleep-timer is a useful feature - you can set the device to run for 30, 60 or 90 minutes.In my opinion, this is an excellent product that could be invaluable to tinnitus sufferers as well as those needing a comforting sound to get off to sleep. The main difference between this and the Homecube is the shape, and the RENPHO also has a rotary volume control. I prefer the Homecube for its more compact rain-drop shape and front-speaker but this is a matter of personal taste.

I bought the Renfro white noise machine for my nephew, and it has been amazing! It helped him have a peaceful night’s sleep without any discomfort, and he only woke up for feeds and nappy changes. The sound quality is great, and it creates such a calming atmosphere. Highly recommend it for babies who need a little extra help settling down at night

Went through a few noise machines and this one is great for sound quality, selection of sounds and ease of use. Does not feel cheap and no annoying split second breaks in the looping sounds. The night light is brilliant too. Have been using this for our baby for about 8 months and can't fault it - he enjoys playing with the buttons now as well. I particularly like the train sound.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use. Lots of sounds to choose from. Dimming light is bit hard but if you don't want it too bright in bedroom then I suggest placing it somewhere like side of bed on floor, instead of a side table. I think it helped my daughter sleep through night without waking until 7am. She was in bed asleep from 7.35pm. She still figeted sometimes, but did wake and climb in my bed, like she has the past week and half. I found it soothing too. I like the rain and thunder sound best, plus the heartbeat sound, like when they test babys heartbeat. 8/10 just for fact I can't dim light as much or as easy as I'd like. It's not too bright, it's just personally I'd like it just a little dimmer

Good shape, solid feel and sits anywhere. Good choice of sounds. Nice feel on buttons when pressing on them. A few of the sounds were difficult to get low enough but most I could turn down low, as I like quiet back background sounds. Loved the lower fan sounds, steady rainfall, water and the nature sounds. All in all an excellent little machine for the money. Would recommend for anyone having difficulty falling off to sleep or perhaps waking in the night. I found timing it to 30 or sometimes 60mins was adequate to send me off to the land of sweet dreams! Very happy.

I purchased this as I've got used to sleeping with my chiller unit on for the noise! but when It's -5 outside it wasn't too practical, I tried a fan but then that's on all night, so I thought as It has a timer I'd give this a go and it did the job! but now the word of warning!! I woke up at 6am one morning and as I usually rise at 7am (I am a live at home Carer) I thought I'd try the other settings and chose The waves crashing into the Beach! Next Moment it's 9.15am and Blind Panic ensued lol.The Sounds are incredibly realistic! Birds, Trains, Rain and Thunder, Fans, Wind and the Sea!I don't use the Lights to sleep but I did put them on whilst having an afternoon break and they cycled through very nicely not Harsh a lovely glow! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I really didn't know what to expect with this, I had been struggling to sleep due to anxiety and the quiet night often didn't help. So I wanted to try something, I used my phone and played sleep tracks on YT for a few nights and really enjoyed the results. But it was not an ideal setup, this product is a life saver!I charge it up in the evening and it will last 2 nights or more! I turned the LED lights off too to help battery. I now have this on every night, all night long on the infinity setting. Personally love the train and rain storm sounds. The thunder is not balanced well and scares you as it goes very quiet then loud. But the product itself is fantastic. Very good sound quality and volume, minimalist design, plug and play. I'll never sleep without it now.

This machine has a nice range of sounds and is very calming to help fall asleep. You can change the colour and brightness of the light. The timer has options of 30 mins, 60 mins, 90 mins, or infinite. I am impressed with how long the battery lasts, I use this most nights for 30 mins, usually without the light, and it lasts almost a month before needing recharged.
