These sandals are awesome! They have an actual, true adjustable toe strap, like the Ecco Yucatan used to have. Ecco changed to a one piece elastic strap across the toes under the velcro fastener, which is not truly adjustable. Really glad I found these Visionreast sandals. The heal cushion feels great. No “break in” period.

I like the sandals so far. The size and style were exactly what I was looking for. I’m still breaking them in, but I like them.

Ok, so they aren’t the best quality. But they’re very good quality for the price, that’s for sure. I’m very pleased with the look and the fit. As others have mentioned, there’s not much flexibility in the Velcro straps. I’m right at the end of them; so I’m lucky they fit without needing to be tightened more. Here’s an interesting note, I wear a 9.5 but Amazon suggested a 10. I got the 9.5 anyway, and I’m glad I did. They fit me true to size, a 10 would have been way too large. At my true size my foot fits nicely into the sole. No sliding around when I move a lot, or when I move quickly. I can tell they’re going to wear-in even better. Basically four stars because they aren’t a really high quality sandal, but they’re a very good quality sandal for those (like me) who don’t need to spend 3x as much to move up to the next level.

My husband wears them all the time. They fit well and are sturdy and comfortable. He was having trouble falling with other sandals but these have improved that. Will buy again

Update, I returned the 8 and 1/2 and got the nine and a half. I'm a large 8 and 1/2 but the nine and a half is much better for me. So if you're a large eight and a half I'd recommend the 9 and 1/2. Using the straps of the sandal, on the nine and a half you are able to get the arch in the proper spot under your foot for comfort. With the 8 and a half you don't even have a little bit of room to work with and the arch is in the wrong place. Seems to be a very good quality, there is one stitch on the inside that feels rough and scratchy, but otherwise they seem to be quite comfortable, they're attractive, I worry a little bit that the heel is too high. A lower profile means less chance of twisting an ankle. I also worry that the air cushion heel is too flexible which also could lead to twisted ankles. These seem to have good padding under your feet, when I say good padding I mean none of that memory foam garbage, you can't clean memory foam easily, and when it rains you're walking on a wet sponge. Memory foam takes like a week to dry, I learned my lesson the hard way on that. These are much better crafted. Unfortunately they don't come in half sizes at my size, they go from 8 and 1/2 to 9 and 1/2 and I'm a large 8 and 1/2, 9 at most. With the small size the arch does not fit in the proper place under my foot, so I have ordered a nine and a half. I'll make my decision which one to keep after that arrives. It's worth noting so far I have not won them off the carpet in case I need to return the 8 and 1/2.

Very satisfied with these sandals

stiff medium heavy, straps unable to adjust tight enough to go wading in the river - they would turn sideways so my bare feet ended up on the slippery or sharp rocks. I replaced them with camel crowns that are lighter, comfortable and can sdjust straps snug for going into moving water.

I purposefully waited to review this product. I have been wearing the shoes for five months. The shoes were comfortable and I wore them for a complete day on the first day. No break-in necessary. I found the shoes to be very comfortable for the day and the cushioning was excellent. I have a couple of problems with my feet. My left foot is smaller than my right foot, so I have a little trouble buying shoes. These shoes fit very well because they have adjustment with Velcro across the joints of the toes and across the ankle joints. The shoe is very easy to adjust, so, I can adjust for the size differences in my feet. My right foot also pronates, therefore, I have to be able to adjust the shoe for fit. The shoe is very easy to clean with a soft lightly dampened cloth. The shoe is not stiff, but, offers wonderful support. My arch feels well rested and supported. I find the shoe to be stable, lasting, durable and strong. The toe bed and the heel bed also offers a level of softness that brings comfortability to the shoe. The shoe is well-made, well thought out. The shoe is stylish, but not flashy.Kudos to the designer and the research team.HLP
