Amazing weighted vest—easy to put on and really comfortable to wear. Installing the weights was a little challenging at first, but once set up, it fits great and stays secure during workouts. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to add intensity to their training! Easily adjust for wear and weight removal.

So I bought this with some hesitation since it's my first time buying a weighted vest and description wasn't overly clear if it did or did not come with weights. On the plus side YES the vest DOES come with weights, the vest feels well constructed, attaches to your body tightly and securely, and due to lots of velcro and thick straps this vest could easily be adjusted for larger or smaller body sizes. Is it worth the $35 I spent, absolutely 100% YES. Now the negative. The weights (which are like little sand bags) are inserted on the inside of the vest against your body which means if you tighten the vest these mini sand bags sort of poke into you. Not the end of the world, but honestly seems like an odd design (I did review pictures and that's the way it's designed). Secondly there are hooks on the front and sides of the vest and I honestly have zero idea what those are for or why they are there? But the biggest negative for me is that the vest is somewhat hot and leaves an odor on my shirt after wearing the vest. I'm not sure if the odor is from the sand bags that are against my body or from the vest itself but each time I wear it I have to change my shirt since honestly my shirt stinks badly after and if wear the vest for more than 30 minutes I'm starting to sweat where the vest is since the vest is hot and not very breathable. I am hoping this odor will diminish over time. If you're new to buying a weighted vest I would honestly 100% say it's worth the $35. However, if you're willing to do a little research and spend a little more money I am sure there are other options out there where the weights don't poke you, the vest does not have an odor, and is the vest is more breathable. But again this vest is well made, and well worth the $35 and I'm happy with the purchase and it's a great value for the money.

I like it. I thought the 20 pounds would be too light for me it's actually effective and has I good weight feeling to it ..

This is a great weighted vest. When it first comes out of the package, it has a bit of a smell, but once it is aired out, it is fine. The flexibility to add or take away weight is great! The purpose of our purchase was for weighted walking, and it's great. It took a bit to get used to as the side sticks out a bit (as pictured), and rubbed against my arm, but after wearing it more often (or under something), it's not bothersome. It is comfortable to wear with the weight and easy to put on. If you are looking for a weighted vest for walking, this is a great option. It is very affordable and of nice quality!

The CAP Barbell Adjustable Weighted Vest has a lot of potential, but my experience was mixed. The design itself is solid—it’s adjustable, fits well once properly secured, and adds a good amount of resistance for workouts like running, bodyweight exercises, and strength training. The weight distribution is decent, and the vest doesn’t shift too much when moving around. However, the biggest issue was that I received a used one. When I opened the package, the vest had clear signs of wear—some of the weights were already inserted, and there was even a bit of dust and sweat residue. This was really disappointing, especially for something that’s supposed to be new. If I’m paying full price, I expect a brand-new product, not a returned or previously used one. Aside from that, the vest itself is okay, but it could be more comfortable. The straps tend to dig in a bit, especially during longer workouts, and adjusting the weights can be a hassle since they sometimes shift or don’t sit quite right. Overall, it’s a decent weighted vest, but the fact that I received a used one left a bad impression. If you get a brand-new one, it’s a good training tool, but make sure to check your order when it arrives!

This is an adjustable weighted vest, just as advertised. Mine came with 20 individual 1LB bags filled with what is likely sand. The vest fits snuggly and can be used for a variety of things. I mostly use it for weighted walking/cardio. My only complain is that it is not the easiest to fit the weights into the vest. Adjusting the weights can be a pain but once it is dialed in, the good news is those weights are snug and wont fall out. So that makes it secure for physical activity, kind of a trade off of necessity for the nature of the vest. If you are crafty you could probably make weights for it yourself using lead shot if you wanted it to be heavier. But honestly, I would imagine for most people 20LB is a decent starter vest. I dont see a need for much more, as I am not actually an athlete, so this is perfect for me!

Stiching of pouches for weight is poor and they come out when you try to fit the weight inside the many pouches…Also no shoulder support so you will feel the marks on your shoulders after using it for a little while. Design should be rethought.

As the item was opened some of the weight bags were open and caused a mess on the floor. The majority of them were okay and the item functions as intended.
