Bosch Cordless Lawnmower EasyRotak 36-550 Excl. Battery/Charger

The assembly instructions were mainly good although there were a couple of points where they could be improved. I had a predecessor to this model which lasted 15 years, the original battery lasting for 10. I use the battery off my old mower as a spare. I find the battery more fiddly to install than on my old mower, where the battery slid in and locked in position easily. My old mower had got very noisy and I notice how much quieter this one is. It is easy to adjust the mowing heights. An excellent mower. Longevity remains to be seen.

It cuts well and is good on wet grass. However, not sure this improves on the previous model that I have had to replace after 6 years of operation due to motor damage. It seems much noisier and the mechanism for raising and lowering the cutting height is more clunky.

MUCH lighter than my old petrol mower so mowing the hill is somewhat le4wss of a chore. Copes well with shortish grass and will cut my lawn (c150sqm) on a single charge (4Ah battery). Not so good on long grass and can struggle with the post-no-mow-May jungle even on the highest setting. This year could be more taxing as no-mow-May has been followed by jungle-June which will soon become Jurassic-July, wish me luck! Anyway, I'm very satisfied with the mower, more than adequate for my small plot.

This was a replacement for my 2012 Rotak 34 and i sort of assumed it might be an improvement with bigger cutting width and 12 years inbetween. It is an inferior machine. 1) The grass basket is smaller and very flimsy. The plastic wont last long. Far inferior to the last model 2) It seems to have less cutting power. On basic grass height is is really struggling and cutting out - my old one did not. 3) The stupid grey clips on which attach the handle bars keep popping on every turn 4) Its a big shame that Bosch have put there name to something like this, certainly effects my attitude to power tools buys where they should be a biword for quality.

After years of successfully using Bosch cordless lawnmowers I recently replaced my old one with a Bosch Easy Rotak cordless mower. The lawnmower cuts but instead of the grass box collecting the grass, almost the entire contents ends up on the lawn as shown in the attached photo with about 5% of it ending up in the grass box, a complete and utter wasted purchase. I contacted Bosch but they said because I didn’t register it on the day of purchase (About 8 weeks ago) the warranty will not be honoured. I am thoroughly disgusted and livid, it looks like I am going to have to throw it in the bin and buy another one, I feel totally stitched up and robbed

Great lawnmower - this replaced a much older version and it lighter than its predecessor. Was easy to put together and was good value. Also enabled me to use the batteries I already had preventing waste.

Over the years I have purchased considerable number of Bosch 18v and 36v power tools. This is the first time I have been disappointed by the lack of care in the design process 1) The toggle clamps holding the handle to the main body come undone when executing a U turn at the end of a row. 2) The cable from the switches to the main body requited a extra 4 cable ties to remove the loops that catch in any shrubbery that you might be passing. 3) The front of the grass box that clips onto the main body does not fit together in a solid manner; with the two halves flapping about. 4) And finally the worst of all it is the only Bosch power tool not to have any red on it What were they thinking?.

Flimsy construction and the weird fixings for the bottom of the handle framework keep popping up as you use the mower so the handles become floppy and loose so you have to stop and reset the fixings. On the plus side it does a reasonable job of grass cutting but it’s not pleasant to use.

Colis endommagé et ouvert, 2 roues manquantes. Sacs plastiques ouverts et pièces éparpillées. À renvoyer !

C’est la troisième tondeuse et toujours satisfait. La durée d’utilisation est de 5 ans.

Perfect for my small, sloping yard. Lightweight which helps to carry into the terraces on my block. This is my 3rd Bosch mower in 15 years - still have the batteries - majority of mower cost - but the plastic body and handles wear so was not worth fixing when the motor stopped on my last one. This design is better than previous versions.
