Perfection. Beautiful build quality for the price!
I paid £155 for mine… and it was the 3rd bike I bought off Amazon in a week, after the two previous ones went back because I didn’t like them. This one was far and away the better one. And the build quality of it was way more attractive than one I paid £280.00 for, in fact I feel this bike is worth about £400 if I was to compare it to what I got for my money on the previous two bikes. (Only one very very minor gripe, more on that at the end 😄) What I loved about this bike was the ride position was fantastic and really well thought out from an ergonomic standpoint, which just makes the ride so much more comfortable. It looks like a much more expensive bike due to the good build quality, and no cheap looking bits or anything. There’s no computer but then that’s not a bad thing because they often look like cheap tat with no useful metrics unless it’s a really high end one. So I really didn’t mind that, It’s chain drive, which actually generates a super cool tactile feel. I personally love the little vibrations under my feet that gives the sensation of riding a bike. I find belt drive to be too perfectly smooth and it’s a horrible fake feel and nothing exciting about it. But having said that some people love belts and pay more for them, but I find chain much more appealing. It will make a very slight rattling noise but that is very quiet and it’s not noisy. I ride with music so I don’t even hear it, but with no music you might find it a little annoying. And lastly a good reasonably heavy flywheel - very good feel, I found, @ 18kg, (one bike I tried and returned was slightly more than needed at 20kg and the other one which was 8kg seemed pathetically too little) but this one @ 40lbs gives a good workout and generates lots of momentum. It’s also got quite a small footprint so it’s not too difficult to move around. The minor gripe, (the thing that wasn’t absolutely fantastic about the build quality, and I think this maybe why it’s so cheap) is that the handlebar tube on mine was a little too tight, I actually greased mine up with a little olive oil to ease the sliding of it as it was tight. But this is the really strange thing, because everything else about the build quality is what I would expect from a bike priced at maybe even £400. Fortunately they had the foresight to fit this thing with an emergency brake, incase you’re working out in the living room and then all of a sudden your lunatic dog randomly tries to jump out in front of you, whilst cycling a bit too fast.

Excellent First Rate Solid Spin bike.
I recently purchased the Chain Drive spin bike, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its quality and performance. Here are the key points: Build and Durability: The bike is exceptionally sturdy, reminiscent of a tank. While it is slightly heavy, this weight contributes to its reassuring toughness. Connectivity and Sensors: I’ve successfully paired the Wahoo speed and cadence sensors with my Android phone and tablet. This connectivity allows me to use apps like Wahoo and Zwift seamlessly. Performance: Having used various spin bikes, including those in professional gyms, I can confidently say that this bike performs exceptionally well. It delivers on its promises without unnecessary frills. Information Display: Rather than relying on a basic display, I prefer using my phone or tablet for more comprehensive data. The Wahoo exercise app, combined with outdoor cycling and running videos on a widescreen, enhances the realism of my workouts. Maintenance: I encountered a minor issue with the main flywheel squeaking during my initial 100 miles of cycling. However, a quick cleaning of the brake flywheel contact area and a touch of maintenance oil resolved the problem. Value for Money: At its price point, this spin bike is an excellent investment. I’ve even seen it listed as low as £80 in the warehouse section, though I personally paid £189. Regardless, it remains a bargain considering its performance and durability." Just over a year later the seat broke ! But I guess I have done something like a thousand miles on it so far with some fairly heavy use so I’m not complaining. Guess some parts of the bike will get more wear and tear and some would consider them to be consumable items. So overall I think this bike still deserves a 5 star rating despite the seat problem.

Good
I can't fault this product. Bought for less than 100 pounds. Heavy flywheel perfect for rpm and sprint less mills. Sturdy product. It is a basic bike, very basic. Pros: heavy flywheel, cheap and sturdy. I use it everyday day and going strong. Cons: pad resistance, when you oil them, changes your levels of resistance so you have to find them again. Handles only move up and down, so you cant adjust them backwards and forwards. A bit noisy. Doesn't come with a rpm, speed measurement. Overall a very good starting bike. If you are a stablish spinning fan, I don't think this is your bike unless you are on a tight budget.

Absolutely fantastic
Absolutely fantastic. Well built heavy bike without all the silly technology and overkill styling. Good for tall people. Chain is hardly noticeable in noise. Very very happy I think this will last many years because it’s a traditional well built bike not a flimsy computer on wheels. The seat is a tiny bit hard in the pelvis but honestly for the price of this bike it’s still incredibly good. It rides like a bike with a chain and it feels fantastic for weight loss. I’m overweight with hormone issues that leave me tired and a bit dizzy and honestly I feel very good on this bike and safe. I love that it feels safe and solid with one dial to change resistance and a break. Simple and well built to last.

Do the the job, could be better
It's a good quality bike, with a little of comfort on the seat. Heavy to carry and transport, do it's job pretty well. The only complain it's the chains noise, needing some lubricant for cleaning and maintenance

Great product for the price
Excellent for the cost. Good weight so doesn’t wobble when cycling hard. Easy to move thanks to the front wheels. Really pleased.

QUALITY Built like a Tank!
Reckon i got a quality Bargain here, after being rather lost in the entire exercise bike world, having been 30 years or more since i last bought a cheap (Around£30) Wieder bike, which packed in, in only 2/3 months due to my exertion. Dissapointed i wrote to them complaining that i assumed they were quality brand. The gave me a new replacement, which i sold new, as i knew it would go the same way, & this is when i realized companies make things to a price. Also these days we have chain/belt bikes, spin bike etc, all i was looking for was something that would last & wouldn't cave in with strenuous use. I fixed my mind on Heavy wheel, which at 40 pounds this one has, i then pondered the belt versions as they cost way more, yet as i suspected & another reviewer stated, who himself had 2 previous bikes, that belts SLIP/slacken in time, prompting him to go for chain which i did also, & like him i had little care for rather pointless digital devices. I have had racing road bikes all through the years, although not using them much in recent years, wityh that in mind it's little matter what Distance you may pat yourself on the back with, for me it's about the EFFORT you are putting in for the duration, which you want to be Minimal. From much earlier years i learned that Really Working a stationary bike, you get a real quick warm up, where in just over 10/12 minutes you Would be sweating, which is what i am aiming for, as when the blood is flying around the body you are more flexible and less prone to injury & the ability to reach this state with hard exercise used to be (with stretching 5 minutes after 15 ex) about 20 minutes, but the bodies ability to reach this state in that time greatly diminishes as years roll on, which is why i have opted to get a bike, to assist in my warm ups for martial arts & weight training. I will still do my normal warm ups , but first i shall spend time on the bike. So for this you simply move the resistance knob till it's hard to pedal, but are still able to effort it to a decent pace & that's it. Now my 1st duration i have had to go 18 minutes to get to where i'm about sweating mode, it will take maybe a week or 2 to get into proper mode of pedalling at pace with a difficult mode/tension, & i then hope to be able to attain warm up/sweating mode in less time. I should mention as i was reading about modern bikes & what to look for & the reason for folk paying WAY more for "Belt" bikes, being they are silent. There is virtualy NO noise from this, all i had read whould make you think a chain bike was making a racket:) It's nothing of the sort folks, & i'd be so dissapointed if i'd opted for a far more expensive Belt bike & in some months it weakened/slipped etc, as i'd regard that as waste of purchase. There is NO Way this bike is packing in, as it is built like a tank, about 100 pounds weight, even has simple to adjust stabalizers which made it simple for me to have it sitting perfectly level in my Not so perfectly flat floor in my outdoor hut where i have the bike, & for the giveaway price of £140, i regard this as a Fantastic bargain As i ponder the life span of this the only thing that could diminish through time would be the brake pads which determine the difficulty of your session, & having just done a quick search it seems they don't cost much and there are youtube videos showing how to fit, so i guess that won't be a problem should it arise somewhere down the line. Very pleased with this purchase, easy ass embly/adjustment, however take your time with pedals attachment, as that can be tricky.

Loud/Vibration
Bike was delivered by Arrow. Delivery was quite fast. Two guys carried out of van and moved into my apartament at first floor. Excelent delivery. Bike was packed well. Screws tools etc were nicely packed. Assembling bike was simple. Overall i was suprised how good it is. But then when I jump on it and start cycling. All magic fall apart. Bike was loud and it vibrated a lot. Vibration and loudnes was not rising according to speed. It has points where vibration and noise were at peek. So definitely somethng was wrong. I removed cover from chain. And notice chain was going into "oscillation". I was trying to fix it by moving flywheel closer to a chain. But i could move screws. I had to buy 2x 19mm Spanners. While doing it i notice my first thought was wrong flywheel was in right position according to chain. It was the angle of flywheel. In my case flywheel was at the slight angle to right side while lookting at the front. I notice two small metal sheets with slightly cutted screws. I notice those nuts were in different position. I had to unscrew right nut to move flywheel a bit. Once two nuts were in same position angle was fixed. And noise dropped by about 3 times and vibration almost gone. So bike is well designed. It was someone who assemble parts made mistake. And screw one of the nut too deep. I bet such a small stupid thing cause a lot of problems with sending back item. But all what need to be done its just two small nuts need to be in same position so flywheel is in straight line so chain works without angle

Good experience with the SF-B901
Overall -- I've had the bike for about 3 weeks. This thing can really give a butt kicking workout. It is heavy and appears like it will last for a long time. What you get is a basic heavy-duty bike with no frills and almost industrial equipment like looks. You can easily add any features later. For example, I may buy a cadence tracking thing in the future, but it's not a necessity. I'm happy with this purchase. This thing works great. Ergonomics -- The seat and bars are firm. I have some padded biking gloves that helped, but it's not a big deal really. The sound of the chain is not particularly bad at all. Also, I have heard no screeching or squeeling-type noises. I think my heavy breathing might be equivalently loud to the chain. Anyway, I like to use headphones for a laptop for watching youtube cycling workout classes while on the bike. So, noise is not an issue. You could buy the belt version of this bike if you wanted potentially quieter operation. However, that version had lower Amazon reviews. Also, I think a chain is more reliable and replaceable by any standard bike chain if needed. Also, I did zip-tie on a plastic holder in the handlebar loop for a water bottle since it doesn't come with that. EDIT:bought a new seat for $20, and it makes the workout more comfortable. Install -- Installation is very easy. At the same time, have a little patience, read the instructions, and don't strip any bolt threads in a rush. After riding the first few times, I had to retighten the handlebar bolts slightly. This should be expected, and it hasn't loosened since. You could use locktite if you want, but I don't think it necessary. Maintenance -- Based on other reviews; I bought some dry silicone lubricant spray at the hardware store (Brand I used - WD40 Specialist Water Resistant Silicone Lubricant). I removed and sprayed the friction pads. Then, let them dry overnight and reinstalled them. The instructions for the friction pads removal is in the users manual. I also rubbed with a cloth some silicone on the flywheel where the pads touch, and let it dry. I did this lubrication at the start, and didn't wait for any friction issues to pop up. This has worked well so far. I will likely reapply silicone to the flywheel every so often. I also completely loosen the friction pad tension after each ride is done. This was mentioned by another reviewer. I imagine this might allow the felt pads to expand back slightly, but don't really know if it helps or not. EDIT:Found I need to reapply the silicone spray to the pads and wheel contact surfaces every 2 months or so to prevent a whistling/humming noise from appearing when resistance is applied.

VERY Sturdy Stationary Bike. Initial Impression is very positive.
Perhaps I didn't have super high expectations but the reviews were good, it was stated to be suitable for someone my height (6'2") and weight (225 lbs.) and the price seemed too good to pass up so I bought it in preparation for next Winter. From the moment I touched it, my expectations have been exceeded. The box is a combination of heavy (115 lbs.) and large rectangular box which made it difficult for a single person to carry. I recommend that you be prepared to have two healthy people available to carry this to it's expected resting place from where it is delivered. I work out and believe I am fairly strong but this package humbled me. I set it up in two spurts of approximately 15-20 minutes each. Total time is probably around 30 minutes. Each and every part on this bike, including the "travel" blocks which can be thrown away, are extremely heavy and well built. Solid steel (I assume) and painted if not stainless steel. If this were a real bike you would not make it very far. But once I got it set up and hopped on, it took a few minutes to make the appropriate adjustments to get the seat and handle bars to where they felt comfortable. I was a bit disappointed that you have to take the adjustment knobs completely out in order to make the adjustments but each and every knob and adjustment piece are very heavy and sturdy. Even the seat and handlebars seem extremely well built and of high quality. The fly wheel is heavy and looks pretty flashy. There is not a single item on the bike that seems like a corner was cut. Even the instructions use full sized pages, are clear and were easy to follow. The only item that I wasn't quite sure about were the pedal nuts that came attached to the pedals and not on the base of the bike like the picture seemed to suggest. This bike seems NOTHING like any other Chinese manufactured item I have ever purchased and I seem to buy quite a few things from overseas. Mostly electronics though and in that space what could be metal is typically plastic. Not the case with this bike. What could be plastic seems to be metal. I test rode the bike for ~5 minutes or so with the tension as high as possible where I could still get to a good speed and I was able to get heated up to the point where I was about to start sweating. There were a few small noises that prevented the bike from being near silent but everything seemed to be installed correctly (both what I assembled and what came pre-assembled). In addition to the next Winter season, I plan to use this bike most days while I'm on conference calls via Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.. At some point, I plan to follow a few hacks from another review to add a tachometer/odometer and a few other bells and whistles. I HIGHLY recommend this bike if you've been thinking about getting a well built but basic stationary bike and you're able to get it at a good price. At least a price that is good for you.
