The first knife I received did not cut straight. I found myself not using it because it was crooked. I returned the knife and requested another one be sent. The second knife I received is perfect. I love the yellow color because I can find it easily in my utensil drawer. The second knife is great, cuts perfectly and is very sharp.

The Kuhn Rikon makes an excellent sandwich / utility knife, although it can obviously multi-task as a paring knife. I particularly love the sharp serrated edge. It has never failed to easily slice whatever I am cutting. But I really bought it because it was bright neon green and I can find it in the drawer easily! I have so many knives but find myself grabbing this one all the time. It has decent weight, feels secure in your hand ... and let's face it, it's cute! I suppose it's non-stick -- I haven't really had a problem with foods sticking to any of my knives, but so far, nothing also sticks to this one. So far the blade's coating is un-chipped or worn -- however I hand wash mine (as I do all my knives). Not sure how the coating would last in a dishwasher. I'm sure the blade guard is nice but I never use it -- sheathing a knife after each use is more trouble than I'm willing to go to. I would buy this again, but it's so well made, I doubt that will be necessary. A+++

I love this pairing knife. It fits well in my hand , it's always sharp . Does the job of many knives. Great to take on the go.

Small but mighty. these blades stay sharp and I love that they have the covers. They are easy to clean and fit my hand well.
