In a previous incarnation, I served as young adult librarian for a large urban library system. The first book in the Harper Hall Trilogy was published just about the time I was hired. Dragon Song and the two sequels would become personal favorites of mine.47 years later I had the opportunity to rekindle my love for the series. The Harper Hall Trilogy serves as an offshoot of the Dragonriders of Pern series and can stand alone successfully. I found the three books aimed at a bit younger audience, to be my favorites.The trilogy came as a boxed set of three trade paperbacks and are a worthy addition to my collection. I am thrilled to be able to relive some of my favorite reads.

Classic Pre teen /teen into to the PERN novels by Anne McCaffrey
I had these books from my teens & literally wore them out until the pages fell from between the covers!What misunderstood pre-teen wouldn’t want to escape their hide bound parents & go live with a fair of miniature dragons?Nice to have them now in the boxed set & great way to introduce them to the Marvelous science fiction world of Anne McCaffrey’s PERN novels?Great gift for any young reader!
