Product is bright, works as advertised. Remote control is small and lightweight but does what it's supposed to and has a decent enough range (I have the light mounted in the basement on the ceiling joist and I can use the remote more then 10 feet away when with no line of sight to the actual light). I really like the fact it's rechargeable and doesn't use batteries. You just pull it down and plug it in. The adhesive came off once but has stayed on since after I recleaned the mounting area and really ,really forced it on.

4/16-Update-Purchased a second light because I liked the first so much. The second light barely held its charge and when recharging, after 3+ hours it still had not finished charging. Now I have to go through all the hassle of an exchange and then returning this one. Great product, the first, but not the second. Hoping the Seller can make this right?Easy to charge and install. Three ight settings, a remote and lasts a long time between charges. Bought a second one which tells you a lot!

My need was for additional lighting above the stovetop. A stainless steel hanging pot rack above the stovetop had the stovetop shadowed from the ceiling lights. I did a lot of searching. Battery power was a must. I looked at a lot of assorted LED grill/undercounter/auxilliary motion sensing lights before settling on these. I purchased one unit to see how it might perform if mounted to the pot rack. The unit arrived and after charging it, I handheld it above the stovetop and realized at least two units would be needed to sufficiently brighten the stovetop area. So I ordered a second unit. In the meantime, I disassembled the unit I had, masked the plastic diffuser with blue tape, masked the charging port, magnet and curved metal plate in the base. reassembled the unit, wiped it down with rubbing alcohol, and sprayed it with Rustoleum silver metal flake paint. Once dry, I dissassembled the unit, removed all the masking tape, reassembled and attached it to the pot rack. The silver metal flake paint matches the stainless steel very well. When the second unit arrived, I also repainted it. The two units appear as if they were original to the pot rack. The distance from potrack to stovetop is 37 inches. Under normal kitchen lighting, my hand-help light meter reads 130 lux on the stovetop. When I turn on the two light bars, the reading goes to 325 lux.One remote controls both lights which is nice. I used doubled sided tape to attach a remote to the side of the knife block. The wife likes it. When she needs more light, she just reaches to the knife block and taps the remote. The main drawback is battery life. A higher capacity battery would be a really good improvement.Wife says it the output from the lightbars is ok, that she can live with it but the stovetop area could still be brighter. So, I went ahead and ordered two additional units which will once repainted form a quad mount on the hanging pot rack. All four will look nearly identical to the potrack.reassembled

The media could not be loaded. The only negative thing is the remote is a little finicky, you need to point it a certain way to get the bar to turn on. I used velcro I had lying around along the extra adhesivestrips from the box to attach the remote to my shed door. The magnets have a strong hold, and the convenience of being able to easily move the bar around for lighting and to bring it in to charge is great. Good amount of brightness for a small light. It was just what I needed for my shed. The video was taken not even a minute after I stuck up the mounts, so the adhesive works great.

This light had the potential to be pretty cool, but it was defective right out of the box...We charged it right away before using it just like the instructions stated. After fully charged, we mounted it and right away we noticed that it didn't want to work properly. At first, it wouldn't even turn on and then it would inconsistently decide to turn on occasionally, and then the next day it would turn itself on an off and go dim on it's own within a few seconds without anyone touching it. I returned it the next day. Cheap junk.

I like the idea of this light, but turning it on and off can be a hassle. The touch button on the light it's self is very annoying. I have to press it multiple times. And the remote only works a few inches away. Also, I charged it for 8 hours and only used it approximately 3.5 hr total before it needed recharging.

I purchased this light bar to overcome a seemingly impossible problem I encountered with a floor lamp, the fixture of which is not longer made by any compary. I was able to strip the old fixture out of the standing lamp head and install (so easily!) the magnetic bar for attachment! I now have reclaimed a lovely old standing lamp to use when my wife and I are working on jig saw puzzles! Easy to reposition, even remove to have a closer look, and it comes shipped with an extra magnetic mount so I could use it somewhere else! Love the rechargeable battery feature!

The light is decent it comes with two magnetic bases and those work well. My main gripe is that the charge loses life very quickly and it takes many hours to fully charge. I charged it for 4 hours and it was dimming after an hour of use. After 2 hours of use it was completely dead.
