Awesome Product
I love these triggers! At first it took some getting used to, but now I never play without them! The silicone grips are good also but they do rub on the controller and slow down movement of the analog stick on occasion. Really though, don't buy this for the grips as the triggers are the real gem. The triggers feel great in hand and are strong and durable. They work great on racing games and any other game that involves holding down the L2 and R2 buttons for an extended period of time.

Comfort, Control, Convenience.
I was skeptical about these triggers before I bought them. Could they really make that much of a difference? Yes, yes they can. I almost can't believe how much of a difference it makes in terms of precision and comfort. PS3 controllers should have been designed like this in the first place. Since that didn't happen, we have these easily added triggers. Playing games is now significantly easier on my wrists, I get more accurate control of the analogue buttons, and I no longer accidentally hit L2/R2 when I set down my controller (Well, it happens occasionally). The bonus caps for the sticks also make it easier to control, with the only downside being that the caps will very likely rub against any skin you might be using. I have a silicone skin on both my controllers for added grip, and the caps rub against the grip. This could be a problem, but it's not yet enough to get me to take the caps off. I bought a second set of these, I liked them so much. In all probability, I will continue using them for as long as I still have a PS3 and controllers for it.

Great product!
I play first person shooters quite often, especially Call of Duty, on my PS3. I was planning to simply get another controller to have as a just-in-case controller, and considered a cheap third controller for just that, but after reading reviews on a few third-party controllers, I realized that I would be taking a chance with one, and chances are, I would be burned if it didn't work right. I even had some people tell me that third-party controllers are junk for FPS games. So, I came across this, and thought this could be better than a third-party controller, because these dual triggers PLUS silicone caps are just add-on peripherals for official PS3 controllers. I tried this product on my controller for a few days after getting it, and I love it! I was used to using the L1 and R1 shoulder buttons for aiming and shooting in Modern Warfare 3, but I flipped the settings for the aim and fire actions to be on the L2 and R2 trigger buttons, and I haven't gone back to the default settings since, because the buttons now feel exactly what they're supposed to feel like: TRIGGERS! I only wish Battlefield 3 had the option to change the aim and trigger buttons. I do not know why Sony made the trigger buttons on the controllers flat when they first started selling the PS3, but that doesn't matter now. As for the silicone caps for the sticks, they have circular ridges on them, and they do help keep your thumbs from slipping off the sticks. It hasn't happened to me before I got these things, but I was somewhat concerned that it might happen someday. I'm glad I got this product! The only reason I'm rating this 4 stars is because I don't think the product improves your gaming performance, but that's just me. They're just nice add-on peripherals for PS3 controllers, and I definitely recommend getting them!

Good improvement
I didn't really know what to expect from this and bought it on a hunch and because it was so cheap. I have only used it for a few days, but I tried to use games that put it through it's paces and so far it's an improvement all around. I wouldn't say it revolutionizes the controller, but it makes the joysticks better as well as the triggers. I am a big Playstation fan and have always considered the PS controller as the most ideal controller (even though many would disagree), although it is definitely not perfect. The trigger caps give a much better grip and I never really liked the Dualshock 3's rounded triggers, so this fixes this perfectly. They don't impede other movements, so I'd say they work great. Also, R3 and L3 have always been a little slippery, especially when I get into some long gaming sessions, and these caps give a little extra grip. They have concentric rings on it that my thumbs can grip better. I felt them slip a little bit a while in, but they held up much better than I anticipated. Even when they started to slip a bit, I compared how it would be without them on another controller and that was still harder to handle, so an overall improvement. So all in all, they are easy to install, improve on everything they are supposed to and are cheap. I have always liked Pelican products because of the price and quality and this is no exception. Give it a try if you are waffling, I'd say they are worth the risk since they are pretty cheap.

Uses
They were great for what I purchased them for and lasted for a while. Now if you are a heavy joystick control user like my son they may not last as long as you would hope but good to replace messed up ones with

Not Impressed
I would of given it a 1 star if it weren't for the analog stick covers. They work well. I have no issues with those. The trigger covers are a different story. You can pop the trigger covers on the triggers BUT they don't fit properly. When you go click the R1 or R2 triggers they stick. Also they don't sit properly. They keep the R1 and R2 triggers from being in the proper position. They are pushed down a bit. I'm very disappointed with them. I would not recommend these! Oh just wanted to say I have the Sony controller not a generic one, not sure how they fit on a generic controller.

Brilliant design and very helpful in game play
I purchased this on a whim... wasn't really sure what to expect because I've never modded a controller before, or used any kind of controller accessories, but for it's simplicity and low price, I'm very impressed! The R2/L2 button thingies are really easy to put on... they simply snap on, and stay on. I've only had them slip off twice, only because I dropped my controller a couple times. The R2/L2 buttons are so much easier to hit with this kit, and have improved my game play. The bonus silicone caps are also helpful, though not perfect. Again, very easy to put on. Basically, they make pointing the joysticks easier with the extra "grip" surface, but sometimes my thumbs get sweaty and will slip a little, but I still get some grip. All in all, this item is only a few bucks for some plastic pieces, but they really do improve the usability of your controller, and that should translate into better, more enjoyable game play.

A definite improvement over the Dualshock's triggers
A definite improvement over the Dualshock's triggers. My fingers would always get tired after constantly holding down the triggers when playing racing games because of the way the triggers slope down when pushed in. I had to actively concentrate on keeping my fingers from slipping off, especially when they got sweaty. The Pelican's slope up at the very ends which pretty much solves the problem. They feel comfortable and natural to use and securely fit on the triggers. They won't snap off unless you want them to. The silicone caps are a nice bonus. I never had any issues when using the sticks before but these might prevent the surface of the sticks from wearing out faster. Honestly I think I prefer using the sticks without the caps but I have no problem using these and have left them on for convenience. I don't think I could go back to the DS's triggers after using these. The only thing bad about that is that these are kind of pricey for what you get -- a couple pieces of plastic and silicone costs me 8 bucks. It really should be half that. I just hope they last awhile so I don't have to keep replacing them. So if you have tired or slippery fingers or hate the feel of the regular triggers then I wholeheartedly recommend these. Oh yea, do NOT try to buy this on ebay. One person was selling triggers which were advertised as PDP Pelicans but in fact are knockoffs. No where on the packaging does it have the brand name, although they try and copy the color and artstyle of the packaging. I bought them without realizing at first they weren't genuine and tried to cancel the purchase but it was too late. I got a refund afterwards but it was still a waste of time because the triggers didn't even work. They wouldn't fit the controller at all so I had to throw them away. I also took a chance on some generic PS3 triggers for like a buck-fifty and those didn't fit either. So I don't know, maybe there is a reason these cost so much more! Anyways I hope this review helped.

Muy buen producto. Proporciona una mayor comodidad al Dualshock 3 en los gatillos, y las cubiertas para palanca ayudan a tener un mejor agarre. Muy recomendable.

Perfect fit
I've owned a pair of "triggers" for a few years now. At the time, they were only available from the UK and cost me about 3 times as much as these but still totally worth it. I have 2 Dualshocks and finally grew tired of swapping between the one with triggers and the one without, so I picked up these. The face of these is slightly different in appearance but work just as well and at a fraction of what I paid for my original set. The analog covers are amazing as well. I find that playing shooters or any of the NHL games, my thumb tends to slip off the analog...but not with these covers. There have a bit of a texture for added grip and seem to actually work better with more abuse!

Buen producto para amantes de los shooters
Buen producto. Pero cuesta un poco acostumbrarse ya que los gatillos quedan mas grandes y las palancas mas altas. Buena calidad y buen acabado. Si tus manos son pequeñas no es recomendable.
