Thinking Mathematically 6th Edition

For a textbook, this was pretty decent. I rented it and was impressed with the state it arrived in! There is an extensive amount of explanation in each section, as well as detailed answers to most of the problems in the back. I decided to keep mine as it will come in very handy with future, higher levels of math courses.

enrolled in a math class that said some this book was optional only to find out first day of class it was the only one the instructor would be using. Ordered this from Amazon and I had it by the next class. The examples are pretty easy to figure out as well on how to problem solve.

The textbook was clean and got me through the semester until I didn't need it anymore. I still dislike math, but I passed the class with an A so I guess you can say I definitely "Thought Mathematically."

I used this book as an additional resource for my last semester class. I like the detailed explanations and having the answers to the problems allows for "reverse engineering" of the steps for solving the problems.

A required textbook for my sibling's college class. We bought a used book. The condition was good and the price was much better than if we would have bought new. I believe all these books are overpriced but they are required so what can a person do. I am happy to have so many options to buy them on Amazon, either new, used or rented.

I oreded a new copy of the book so that I would recieve an access code for my math lab which is a online application associated with this book and required for my class. I got a used version of the textbook, no access code for my math lab. I paid full price. Extremely dissatisfied.

The book was in good condition nothing majorly wrong.All though if your taking this class online you don't really need the book. The book really was only there so I could write chapter notes however the book online would have worked great. The homework and the online book is all you need, unless you really need a physical copy.

Very useful book material explained so it's easy to understand. I used this book for an online class. The best part is that I was able to rent this book for a great price instead of purchasing for more money.
