Great product, but wanted to note a few items to save money and avoid frustrating errors. I will definitely buy again if I have another hose bib come loose. If you learned about Bib Buddy from the YouTube channel "Weekend Home Projects" excellent video "How to Attach Hose Bib to Brick - Install Outdoor Faucet with Hose Bib Buddy", please note there is an error in the video. The video calls for a 3/32 drill bit for the small screw pilot holes near the middle of the plate (not the outside masonry screws). However, the Bib Buddy instructions call out a 5/32 drill bit (see the image from the instructions). I followed this video and used 3/32 bit, but there was no way those screws would thread into those too small holes. So I then used a 1/8 drill bit I had and that worked, though it was very tight. Would probably work better with a 5/32 bit. You don't need buy the hex head drivers if you have a ratchet set. All screws have a screwdriver slot, so you can also use a screwdriver in that slot rather than the hex head driver. It was surprisingly easy to screw in the masonry screws after drilling the holes. Just saving money by using what I already have. Overall, Bib Buddy worked great. Finally, be sure to drill the faucet mounting holes BEFORE screwing in the plate with the masonry bits. That tip is included in video. Great product! Glad to have such an easy and elegant solution to a loose hose bib.

This product solved a problem that I had for years. Ever since I got my house, one of the outside faucets was loose and after I tried new screws it never held tight to the wall. I installed this bracket in just a few minutes and now the faucet is tight and secure. Comes with the screws you need but you will need a 5/32 drill bit. This is an inexpensive product that definitely does what promises.

Thick aluminum notched plate. Be prepared to drill your own holes. If you need something like this, well this will do the job well.

Works as it should. Used a Strain Relief Clamp for Dryer Cord found on Amazon to secure the pipe coming out of the wall to this bib buddy. Used self tapping screws to secure the clamp on the pipe to the bib buddy. It's rock solid now and the tabs to hold insulators during winter are a plus.

I called customer support number on a Sunday afternoon and left a message. Within 10 minutes, Paul one of the co-owners of the company, and the inventor that submitted the patent, called me to answer my questions. I have not been able to use the unit yet, because my faucet unit although wobbling a bit, can not pull away enough from the concrete wall for me to properly install the metal plate. I am optimistic when my faucet plate detaches more, I will be able to us the Hose Buddy. The unit is solid, not cheap, and includes the necessary screws etc.. Highly recommend for design, durability, and customer service. Customer service for this $12 solution was better than I get on my expensive appliances!

This product stands out because you don't have to disassemble the hose bib to use it. It is of the highest quality and the instructions give all the information needed for a successful installation in a short amount of time. I cannot recommend this product enough. It is well worth the money for a solid hose bib. Thank you!

I was surprised by the quality of this bib. It’s quite a robust piece of metal, not flimsy, so I can understand the price point. I needed these to reinforce my outside hose valves. Works well, I’m quite happy.

Very simple to install - even with a frost free faucet. Yes, you will have to put caulk to fill the gap unless your bricks are perfectly flat (none are) and between the faucet and the plate. But VERY nicely designed, milled, and complete. I wish it would come with a masonary bit to drill into the bricks, but lucky I had one at home.
