my apartment's stove is a really crappy hot-point with oddball element sizes. The largest element melted so I needed a replacement, and I bought this. It was a touch larger than my original stove's element but it fit perfectly after bending the tabs. overall it's designed and built better than the original. Slides in easily, incredibly affordable compared to OEM, and works better. Just don't be surprised if it smells funny the first time you turn it on. It has that odor that things like heaters and hairdryers have when you turn them on for the first time. It'll burn off.

The stems were bent a little and needed to be bent back into place. Excellent replacement! Fit perfectly and gets hot faster than the old coil! I will definitely recommend this product! Great value and quality! A+++

I had to cut and file the little ears on it to fit in the slit. But, it turned out ok and works fine. Pretty decent price as well.

This upgraded one works much better than the one I bought a few years ago! Fits my Hotpoint perfectly.

I pulled a pretty decent GE SPECTRA jbp26wob1ww from a client's house that was switching from it to a gas setup. I had an old old stove with just knobs on it...no clock, no nothing and the oven had issues so I figured this is a pretty nice range to degrease, clean up and install.... only one of the 8 inch Burners had a broken foot so it wouldn't hold a pan.....I ordered this while cleaning up the unit and as expected, I had to tweak the electrical tabs because this is obviously from China and quality control is not their strong suit..... they came like |\ instead of || and needed to be bent toward the bottom of the burner pretty far to allow it to sit flat when installed. Took me about a minute and a half to install, pull, bend like 4 times. Turned the burner to HI and this baby GLOWS! This burner gets hotter and glows brighter than the originals. Cooked a couple hot dogs in a fry pan with a little water and it was fast! Pan sits flat with no rocking. I'm happy. For the price of this this I got a $700 stove back to like new condition! We will see how long it lasts though... that's the tale to tell. But for now it's worth the money.

Great fit in GE Cooktop. Replace the sensi temp crap with this regular coil and works like a charm. Great fit.

Be very careful if size and fitting.
