I used this to cover the vents on the outside of a window unit to prevent bugs from coming in. The mesh works great for what I wanted to use it for. Just make sure you have a good tape.

I use this to block my cats off from behind the bed and it works great.

Like a previous reviewer, I spray painted it black and used four layers of it as my vision hole in my enormous paper mache eye mask. It took the paint great and is super flexible and pliable- very easy to work with. Hot glued it in place it worked perfectly! I also used it plain unpainted (white) for some vent holes I cut last minute to help with hearing and cut down on temperature and echo. Worked great there too! You get a pretty large, folded sheet of the stuff. More than enough for my project. Hope this helps! ;)
