will this stick to the underside of roofing felt? I need it to repair torn roof felt from the underneath accessed from the eaves

I think this will work. It's incredibly sticky and strong material. I used it for a repair on a shed roof and three years on it's still working. It could be tricky to apply upside down in the eaves. Think carefully about how you apply it. Once it's in place it isn't going to come off.
