Roof Rack Cross Bars Fit for 2016-2022 Honda Vezel HRV HR-V Lockable Black Luggage Rack

The bars were very easy to install, I haven’t tested them with my kayak yet but they are STURDY. It’s a plus that they look great too! It’s a seamless design, would order again. For the price they are great! 10/10 would recommend.

I purchased these with the intent of mounting a bike rack onto it. Well long story short, the bars, bike rack, and my bike flew off my car at 80 miles an hour, destroying the bars and totaling my bike. Before people come at me, I installed them correctly. Followed the very poorly laid out diagrams in their “directions” and watched a YouTube video that they provided in the directions. When I found the bike and roof rack on the side of the freeway, parts were missing from the cross bars which ultimately probably caused it to fly off. I can not stress enough how much money you will save by going with something nicer and more expensive than these. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of the bars but they are in the side of i-40 headed east in CA, about an hour from the border of AZ. I do have the receipt to prove my bike was totaled though.

The crossbars are solid, would be perfect if they fit on the sidebars tight. However, after installing the bars they just had too much play and I was uncomfortable with the thought of putting items on the roof and driving down a highway. I wanted these to fit because they are very solid and sturdy (and a great price!) but just couldn’t get them to be tight on the factory side rails. Had to return. Maybe different model vehicles with different rails would work but the HRV it didn’t. I even compared to my other two vehicles that have factory crossbars to see if they had even a little play and neither did. So I just couldn’t keep these and sleep at night.

These far outperformed my expectations. I purchased them to carry some wood over a couple hundred mile journey and didnt see the 85lb weight capacity rating until they arrived. Tightened them very thoroughly at install and the wood i needed to haul ended up exceeding 400lbs. It was slow going but the racks held up. I dont recommend exceeding the weight rating, but they sure performed in a pinch

Fits perfect and works as intended. I gave three stars only because it's a great hassle but this thing together due to the fact that manual is virtually non-existent

I received these this week, and they came without any sort of instructions. Thanks to those who left pics. I had to wrestle them on a bit, but they're as sturdy as my wife's factory bars on her 4Runner.

Used on my HRV hex screws strip out easy. Main thing is that they vibrate at certain speeds. Can get very loud at times. You get what you pay for. Hoping to put a basket on top of it. Hopefully bolting basket to it will stop the vibration. If not will need a better set of rails!

It basically just friction fits on, and it was easy enough to assemble. I'm not sure how confident I would feel putting actual stuff on top ( as it just friction fits ) but I was able to put a basket on the racks and I've had no issues. I think it's a cool purchase!

Great cross bars right size and fits well. Instructions manual are precise and clear.
