Good looking and perfect fit
Installed on a 1992 Suburban. This was a good buy. While reviews might say it is cheap or flimsy, it is not. If you mount it properly by drilling holes in and attaching it with nuts and bolts rather than screws, it will be very sturdy. I don't notice any shake or rattle when I am driving. I mounted it to the existing plate holder just drilled through. Mounted 2 Hella lights on it and it looks and fits perfect. It's pretty lightweight so it offers no protection as a push bar would, it's simply a light mount. Knowing that, 5 stars. UPDATE: If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Got into a minor crash when a vehicle backed into me and hit the bull bar. It wasn't even bent or mangled, other than a scratch in the paint it was fine. The other car's trunk was smashed in. So if there is any though that it's flimsy I can tell you it is not.

Good product for the money
Good product for the money. I bought this for my 2011 Nissan Murano. Mounting it presented some decisions that I had to make. Namely, vibration can be a problem because my bumper and license plate bracket are plastic and this will be a flimsy setup if you try to mount the Bull Bar without added bracing. The way I did it was to remove my bumper and drill through my plastic license plate bracket, through the plastic bumper and finally through a 14x34 long metal plate ( I made) that mounts behind the bumper I had made to anchor the Bull Bar . I used two long SS nuts, bolts and washers to bolt everything together. This accomplishes several things : 1) The Bull Bar should be able to withstand parking taps for those who like to park by feel so it will protect my front bumper 2) In case of a light hit(s), the Bull Bar won't fall off along with my license plate, which is now bolted to the license frame independently of the Bull Bar. 3) Less chance of vibration It's a clever product for those who want some sort of protection for their front bumper without having to spend a lot more money and time installing a heavier and more costlier bumper bar. Also mounted a Rigid Industries 10" combo/flood light bar (highly recommended) and it looks great. Update 3-8-2018 I had 2 bars bolted in parallel on the front of my truck and something backed into the 2 bars, crushing them (see first picture). If they hadn't been installed on my truck my front end would have been wiped out. I didn't see how it happened. The bars withstood a mighty beating. There was a tremendous amount of force used to bend the bars. The top bar, if you look carefully, has been bent down (curled). The bottom bar has also been bent down. The picture doesn't really show the true extent of the damage. I ordered 2 replacements but they are slightly different than the first pair I ordered. The original pair I ordered from the same vendor featured solid sealed ends. The newer version has plastic end caps. I'm not a big fan of the end caps because I've already lost one of them. Also I think the sealed version adds a bit more protection to the unit. You need to know that there are different vendors selling the same product for different prices. Look carefully, some are aluminum and some are steel. I chose the steel version. Well worth the extra money. Especially after the crunching that they took to save my bumper and grille. This time I welded the bars together (see pictures) and will now use mending plates to strengthen the whole setup as I did before as well. Highly recommended, especially if you own what I call an Urban SUV or crossover. My truck is not a 4x4 made for off road use, it's an AWD Murano designed for the occasional use in mud and snow so this bar fits this particular application well. Update 7-18-21- Everything is holding together nicely except the paint has faded from sun exposure. Moving to Texas hasn't helped the sun fade either! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. Neat product
I wanted fog lights on my Tradesman Ram 2500 but didn't want to install brackets and all the other stuff needed for the size of fog lights I bought. While my lights are pretty big (8" each, installed 2) this wouldn't fit them both. I used a piece of polished aluminum to make it accommodate the lights. Keep this in mind: If you plan on using the license plate screws this will be VERY flimsy. I took out the plastic screw mounts and replaced them with bolts and Loctite. Still bounces a bit on dirt roads, etc. but saved me about 8 hours fabricating a mount otherwise. Looks good, is pretty small, but I like it. And saved me from drilling into my bumper.

Impressed!
Mounted this on a 07 Ford Focus so I could put some extra lighting on. Looks great, and very sturdy. Both of my lights in the picture are 3 lbs each for a total of 6 pounds and it still feels secure. Bar just mounts into license plate bracket for a total install time of about a minute. Probably the best bang for your buck if you are looking to mount lights on a car with no convenient mounting locations.

Really quite good!
I thought for the price that this thing would be garbage but it really is a solid piece of steel! It gives your car a nice little mustache appearance - I wish they made a longer/wider version that covered more of the bumper. I attached mine to the plastic skin of my Subaru Forester by putting a backing plate behind the plastic (some hefty aluminum plate i bought at home depot) and ran some bolts through all 3 to secure it tightly. I wouldn't trust this to stay secure by just screwing it into the plastic.

Unstable mount and lamp clearance issues
I had purchased this to install a set of Hella fog lights on my wife's '06 CRV and the round tube interfered with the lights and I had to fabricate risers to get the lights high enough to clear the tube. Then I ran into the vibration issue others had mentioned. This might work IF you could use four bolts and mount it directly on the front bumper. Not so with the Honda. I had to mount it to the license plate bracket. After it was all done it seemed way too flimsy and a test drive confirmed my concerns. I didn't want this falling off taking the lights with it so I removed it and mounted the lights directly to the bumper. If you can get this mounted using four bolts directly onto the bumper and can fabricate risers to get your lamps to clear the tube then it might work for you. Good luck !

Good item but cheap finish
It is a good little bar, setup my light nicely on it. My only complaint is that after 2 months of use the finish peeled off. It appears to be thin and cheap paint. I plan to have it powdercoated in the future.

Fits 05 Forester well
Perfect for what I needed, lightweight but still rugged enough that I trust it with my lights. The welds are clean and the finish is perfect. I recommend using self tapping screws if you have viable metal behind your license plate screws. (Probe before drilling with an awl) I thankfully only had 3" of foam and air in between the screw holes and good steel. I also used some 30lb. Gorilla mounting tape on the backside to reduce vibrations, as well as spray a few ounces of expanding foam in the cavity behind the license plate mounts. I knew the self tapping screws under torque would squish the plastic bumper a bit so I wanted some support, hence the foam. Subarus bumpers are designed to buckle so you have to get 3" self tappers for you to grab the interior bumper. I may also be able to mount this just under my grille, with the bracket hooking over the back to the steel bumper support, as the geometry is perfect. I'll probably end up doing that for winter because a snow bank right now would shred this thing off. Overall, very pleased, my only complaint is that it's so universal, it's made for all number plates, US plates leave a 1 inch gap on each side of this mount.
