My Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

When I purchased my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, I knew I would need assistance, since virtually no documentation came with the tablet. Thankfully I found this book available. While I have not gone completely through the book, what portions I have accessed have bee immensely helpful, easy to understand, and in many cases gave me more answer than I had anticipated. A must have for a new Tab 3 owner!

The book is very easy to read and the index for finding topics you want to know about is excellent. But the best of all is the pictures with arrows diagramming what the text is saying. I do wish, however, that the book had two sections: one for Wi-Fi only and the other for 4G. It was a little confusing when I started to read a section and found that it did not apply to Wi-Fi but to the other.

Had not owned a tablet before, so this was unique experience, especially since it's a completely different platform from my eye-fone. Be prepared for a fairly steep learning curve, but it's worth the effort.

Its ok. I cant seem to get the support either on line or by their customer service. I hate that everything seems to automatically go into the cloud and without internet acess you cannot do anything. I dont think I would get it again.

I had never used the Android Operating system - I am an iPhone user so this helped explain features very clearly. I quickly learned to use my new tablet. I am still old school and need to read a manual to learn how to use a piece of equipmen.

I bought the leather case for my Tab 3 and it works great. It protects, acts as a stand, has a hand hold and I was pleasantly surprised that when I close the cover it puts my Tab 3 to sleep saving power. There is even a place for a stylus or a pen.

I don't have the experience to make a proper review . . . I've never had a cell phone or tablet before. I do have experience on desktop and laptop computers. However, the whole computer/tech universe seems to be getting more and more complicated, rigid, and out of hand. However with this device I have been able to do email, read books from library, take pictures, etc. From my limited use it seems to work o.k., It's a very cute toy. At age 79 I've become something of a Luddite and though useful often find computers a diversion and a pain. But this is not a computer. For me the device is neither especially intuitive or useful. It's a nice toy and a way to get people to spend money . . . but, yes, it works. Jim Ryan

I wanted a tablet to take photos, search, play games and one that was easy to use. This was a great deal around Thanksgiving/Black Friday. The ratings on this one were very high and I agree. It is easy to use, my 4 year old grandson loves to play his games on it, I do wish it were not just wifi, but it certainly meets my needs. Very Glad I bought this one.

What can I say about this great book. Well I found it very informative, giving detailed instructions with very good graphics for possibly every task you'd use your Tablet for. I'd recommend this book to anyone who has or is thinking of buying a Tab 3, it gives you so much more detail and info than the online manual. The best thing about this book is the fact that it's almost completely idiot proof. All at a great price, with the typical high standard in delivery from Amazon.

This covers everything I didn't know about tablets. Very easy to read and formatted from start to finish for every level of user. Each subject is explained well and not in any lofty idealistic stylel. An excellent read.

I am new to using a Tablet, (I am now the happy owner of a Samsung 3 8" Tablet:) but found this book was not suitable for complete beginners. I have had to order another book that I hope will be useful to me! If you are an older (senior) person and never used or owned a Tablet, I would suggest this is not the book for you! I want something that covers all the bases from A-Z, is simple and easy to understand, and can provide answers to all the simple questions I need answers to! I haven't got anyone to ask or show me how to use my Tablet, so an informative book would be very useful. 18/01/14 - I have since purchased another book called: 'Android Tablets for Seniors In Easy Steps' by Nick Vandome, and am finding it very useful indeed! I think I will probably be able to use the other book when I am comfortable and familiar with using my new Tablet. Very happy indeed :) EB 25/01/14 - I have changed my original 2 Star rating to 4 Stars, as I become familiar with my Tablet, I find the book 'My Samsung Galaxy Tab 3' very useful indeed!
