Great as a soup or chili or casserole base
I don't really eat these right out of the can. I like them as mushy as possible because this and a small can of beets are now the base of my soups and chilis, and this week, a casserole. This small can helps make a good base. A little too much salt, but I'm always complaining about that and "a little" too much isn't a valid qualifier. Qualifier: My eyes require a ton of carrots a month, so I usually add chopped carrots on top of just this can of carrot base. It would be way too much salt if I didn't keep it down to only the one can per 7 qt. pot of soup or chili, or 5 qt. casserole. It meets my needs and is a great price for a whole case. 3 cans have provided me the base of a dozen meals so far (more like 11).

Dog happy - use these for treats!
Local stores stopped carrying so was very glad to find on Amazon. Give them to my senior dog, who has less than ten teeth left, as a treat so these are perfect. Shipped promptly.
