Can I use this topcoat with other polishes?

I used this for the first time over OPI nail lacquer and lap swam in a pool a couple of times and several other vigorous activities and my polish has lasted over 2 weeks. I’m blown away! Going to keep trying with other polishes I have.

It's hard to tell by the photos. Are any of these, pearlescent?

A few of them are... here's a link to nice swatches of each color. My faves are Pearls of Wisdom & Twill Seeker. http://imabeautygeek.com/2016/05/01/essie-gel-couture-2016-swatches-and-review-all-the-shades/

Which colors do you find lasts the longest?

Darker colors are better because you need fewer coats. The less coats you put on, the longer it will take to start creasing and cracking. I would avoid all the nudes and pinks - I have to do at least 3 coats before they’re no longer translucent on my nails.

Can you use regular polish with the gel top coat?

NO, you have to use both together and it is awesome!!! I am on my computer a lot plus I do house chores and my nails do not chip! It is great for someone like me who does not want gel/dip/acrylic ...highly recommend
