I use three of these. This is a good monitor, it has no major flaws but is basic the most impressive feature is the 75hz refresh rate and that seems gimmicky at best. At this price it is very good value but there are some better monitors. Acer has one that is the same price and size but it is 100hz. this monitor is good for you if you want a good desk monitor of 1080p resolution, reasonable size, and ok color accuracy. three of these are amazing for school work or even just web browsing. I've enjoyed these a lot

Knocked my other monitor right off the desk - busted. This one was orders and showed up in record same PM timing - 4 hours! I'm highly impressed. Comparison: Right next to my acer monitor - this monitor has mostly pros with just a few cons. Overall this is an very exceptional value for both business-office use and video/streaming users. Pros: The color is vivid and crisp with very useable settings and slight to strong blue light % drop options. Monitor is sharper in the correct way, but colors are not as wide/more colors. So definitely newer LEDs but not necessarily better than higher/more expensive competitors. Unit wights hardly nothing, but packs a performance punch that matches and exceeds rivals processing-wise. Appearance looks bigger than my other 27", because of the semi-edgeless' design - not full/close edgeless, which is good enough for me. Cons: The menu function is only 5 buttons with no directional button, which takes getting used to, but it works fine and easy. Top button is enter, bottom button is power on/off. Button up from bottom is exit. Middle two are up/down:left/right. I'm glad I chose this one! Only time and video side:by:side comparison will tell with as close to similar settings as possible, but don't need to wait when you need it asap. Thanks!

These monitors really helped with my working from home productivity and I highly recommend them. The price was good for what I got but I did get two of these on Prime Day for a discount. I have a 2015 MacBook Pro and it works with these perfectly via cables that plug into my Thunderbolt ports (purchased the cable separately). Assembly does take a few minutes in terms of putting together the stand, but overall it is easy to do, and pretty much plug and play - just make sure you have the right cables. These monitors would honestly make a great TV replacement if you want to play movies on your computer, because they're pretty much the size of a small TV and they look great - as someone who has watched Netflix on them occasionally. I will say they are a bit flimsy and wobbly if you bump them, so put them somewhere you won't bump them around too much to be safe. Also, measure your desk because they are wide! No complaints here though - the screen real estate that these provide is excellent. I have used these for coding and Web browsing but I'm not a gamer, so I can't speak to their gaming performance.

I felt compelled to write a review for this monitor after seeing a lot of negative reviews recently. First off, my old 27" Dell monitor that I've been using to work from home with died after 8 years of use. You just can't go back to working on a 14" laptop screen all day when you are used to 27". This Sceptre was the cheapest 27" monitor available on Amazon today and was available with Same. Day. Shipping. I was floored. Read through the reviews and the recent ones weren't that flattering, but seeing how I had to work today, I needed a monitor and pulled the trigger. True to their word, received the monitor today, just after 2pm. Packaged well. No damage to the monitor or screen upon unpacking. Very simple to put together, just twist the stand onto the base, attach the stand to the back of the monitor and screw in 2 screws. They even included a screw driver so I didn't have to hunt for one. The screen is perfectly fine for at home work crunching data in Excel spreadsheets, designing Power BI dashboards or working on Word documents. I don't plan on Gaming with this monitor, so it meets all my expectations for a business monitor, as it is labeled and sold as. Another user complained of it being wobbly but I have not found that to be the case. Perhaps they did not screw in the 2 screws tight enough. TL;DR - Perfectly fine business monitor for work. Don't be put off by negative reviews.

First let me say that this is a computer monitor, not a sound system. I've never depended on a monitor for good sound since the old days of video monitors. If you want great sound you had to buy a sound card and some speakers. These days all you have to do is buy some speakers and plug them into your computer and get reasonably good sound. So, I'm not reviewing the sound. This is a computer monitor I bought this monitor because my ten year old computer died and I thought it would be a good idea to buy a new one instead of a new drive for the old one. Great move, new computer had an SSD drive and boots so much faster. However, it didn't work well with my old thirty-five inch flat screen TV, lots of overscan and no possible way to adjust it, either in the TV or the computer. So it was time for a new monitor. Granted twenty-seven inch is a step down from thirty-five inch, but this monitor worked perfectly right out of the box. Plugged in the power, plugged in the HDMI, turned it on and my Windows desktop was shown in full, no more overscan! I was upset that the angle of the stand had the computer tilted toward me at about a five degree angle. But I'm an idiot, it's been a tough week. After re-reading the description I grabbed the sides of the monitor and tilted it up to the perfect viewing angle. I'd completely forgot that one of the selling points on this monitor was the adjustable stand. SO HAPPY NOW! For less than $150 this is a great monitor. Sharp and clear, easy to read, and nice colors.

Bought 3 of these for multi display computers/TV digital off air box in different rooms. (I don't do any gaming) These have worked flawlessly for my purposes. The IPS-27 senses each signal input automatically. Nice display from each source. Flexible adjustment features if needed. Very pleased. GP

Review meant for other non tech persons... not for those who are up to date. ( We ARE out here... happily living with our old but good electronic equipment!) So our old monitor died and we needed a basic, no frills viewing monitor to be able to hook up to our older DVD player and our older receiver's red, white and yellow (RCA) connections. We are not tech savvy whatsoever, and we just needed to purchase an additional (not included with the monitor) adapter that had the RCA to HDMI converter unit to have this monitor work. Be sure to get the kind with BOTH needed ends included. (search Viagkiki for the black connector we purchased with photo.) The HDMI port of the needed adaptor gets connected to the back of the monitor - there are two ports, and no difference between them... it is just for people who want to connect more things than just a DVD player. Just pick one and plug it in. The other end gets connected to the free ends of the RCA plugs (see photo female to male ends)... then plug in the electric (you do need another adaptor end to plug the usb port into the two pronged outlet) and the other end gets plugged into the back of the monitor. For set up - this monitor is quite easy. Comes packed in a foam lined box, and all the parts are inside to set it up. (Besides the adaptors mentioned which are purchased separately with an Amazon search) The neck of the stand gets attached to the base by a sideways then twist straight connection. Easy. The neck top gets connected to the monitor by laying the monitor face down on carpet or rug and the provided small screws and screwdriver gets the job done in a few minutes. ( They also include some hardware to hang on a wall, but we didn't need that... as well as they include an extra HDMI cable that we didn't need for our purposes.) Connect the (not included, a separate purchase) RCA to HDMI converter... remember to plug that in for a signal to the monitor... and you are ready to turn the monitor on and set the preferences. The 'on' button is behind the lower right hand side, easily reached without needing to turn the thing around. No remote is included, but it is an easy on and off reach behind. The screen will show some options ( as well as the directions) and the back buttons navigate through a few options... and it isn't that hard to figure out. The DVD's play wonderfully... great crisp color... good sound ( ours were connected to surround sound) and the slim edges are nice for viewing. A great purchase, overall with a Black Friday deal offer. For those of us who are not tech savvy, nor want to be... this monitor is a great option without getting into all the confusing aspects of modern TV's and all of that. A simple basic viewing monitor ...with the addition of two reasonably priced, separate purchases to get the right connections to modern electronic ports are all you need. Hope this helps ~

Compré el monitor por 3 cosas 1.- msi a 6 meses sin intereses (precio descuento 110dlls aprox) 2.-bocina y 2 HDMI 3.- se puede ajustar el angulo de inclinación de la pantalla. (Super importante para mí)

Antes de realizar mi compra estaba muy inseguro dado que nunca habia escuchado de la marca, sin embargo me anime despues de ver algunos reviews en internet, la verdad fue mejor de lo que esperaba una calidad de imagen muy buena, tiene bocinas incorporadas pero a decir verdad no las uso ya que siempre tengo headset pero el sonido es en general bueno, lo utilizo para gaming y creanme que se siente muy bien ademas tiene una opcion para acelerar el tiempo de respuesta del monitor. Lo recomiendo bastante, y si esta en descuento mucho mejor.

I use this for business purposes and I really like the speaker option on the back of the monitor so I can plug right in and get sound.

En general me gustó, su relación calidad precio es bastante buena, buen tamaño bordes muy delgados, lo utilizo como monitor principal para mi PC y Xbox, no eh tenido problema alguno con calentamiento y lo uso alrededor de 10-12 horas al dia. Si a caso el unico detalle es que los botones del control de volúmen se sienten de calidad sencilla pero realmente no afecta en nada, 2 HDMI un VGA y soporte VESA, la verdad es que para cuestiones de "oficina" o consolas tipo Xbox One, play 4 etc etc. está bien ya que es de 75HZ si lo buscas para consolas de nueva generación o altos FPS en caso de ser PC creo que si valdría más la pena ver otras opciones. El sonido es "bueno" pero nada del otro mundo. Por lo que pagué estoy mas que conforme, sus colores son buenos y la configuración te permite mover varias cosas para ajustarlo asi que en general le doy un 10.
