Works on the Switch, but best with a mouse that has internal/onboard memory.
This is a long and detailed review about testing it on the Switch only; but I would think one would get the same results on the other consoles. This does work on the Switch if you set it up correctly from the instructions (which is not difficult at all). Basically this device fools the Switch into think you have hooked up a wired gamepad where the keyboard takes the place of some buttons while the mouse takes the place of the other buttons (none of which can be programmed as is but keep reading about mouse usage). However to get the most functionality from your mouse I would recommend one that has internal/onboard memory and a computer so you can setup the buttons on the mouse first using the software for that mouse on the computer to match the buttons on the gamepad that you want and then use it on the Switch. This will require you to look at the instruction booklet and see which keyboard keys emulate which gamepad buttons and then assign those to the mouse. This way if you want the back button on the mouse to be the Y button for example you can set that up on the computer and the mouse will keep that setting when using it with the Switch. If you do not do this and use everything as is then the mouse will be limited to the right, left and middle click (the scroll wheel) because the back and forward buttons do nothing and of course you can still aim/look around using the mouse. Having said that though the rest of the gamepad buttons are all emulated on the keyboard; but this requires you to do a lot using your none mouse hand. Think of it this way on a gamepad the buttons are divided between your left and right hand while using this setup by default puts more buttons on one hand than the other. Did not notice any lag when trying it out on the game Spellbreak in practice mode, or Doom in arcade mode. Using a mouse is definitely more accurate than using a gamepad even with motion assist; but there is a trade off since learning to use the keyboard requires different/more muscle memory but this is mitigated with a programmable mouse. Keyboard wise it worked with an old rubber wired USB one that I bought a long time ago; but that is the only wired USB keyboard I have to test with at the moment. So at the time of this review I cannot recommend a keyboard only confirm that it does work depending on the keyboard. I am waiting on a newer wired gaming keyboard that I ordered that another reviewer said works with this device so I can use a more comfortable keyboard since the rubber one has weird keys. I have provided Amazon links to the mice I have tried and the keyboard that I ordered.Works with any of these 3 mice (yes I tried each).PICTEK: (least amount of buttons cheapest price)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RH6R7C4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Logitech G300s: (middle number of buttons middle price)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FZ3BR5S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1ZLOT Vertical: (most amount of buttons highest price)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T3PFWCB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Keyboard that may work with this but cannot confirmhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HHZ81FW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Absolute garbage.
Does not work well at all, you have the choice of having the input delayed and smooth with a random jump at the end or almost no delay but extremely jumpy and jittery. No matter what settings, moving the mouse fast is slow output and moving it slow is fast and if u move it like 1mm per second it’s slow so very unbalanced and wacky. I’ve tried low dpi 100, high dpi of 16000 and everything in between nothing is a sweet spot. I’ve tried low and high frequency output rates from the mouse. I’ve asked for firmware updates like the manual says they will provide, received no response to that other then watch the video which provides no help, or “maybe your mouse isn’t compatible,” when the manual says they would provide firmware to fix any compatibility issues, and I’m not gonna buy another mouse when I prefer my Razer(which is recommended) basilisk. They made no attempt of giving me firmware to update the adapter for improvements like stated in the manual and I’m very disappointed.

Works well!!
The media could not be loaded. My son loves this thing! The set up was very easy, and it works great on the Nintendo switch. I would like to give it five stars, but unfortunately you cannot map out your own buttons. It also did not work with our original keyboard, which is the Corsair K55 RGB PRO, so we had to switch to an Inland IC210 keyboard. We didn’t experience any lag, or connectivity issues like some others (but he currently only plays RPG’s). I will say that the mouse speed has to be adjusted when using it to pan the camera.

This convertor doesn't work on Xbox One.
The media could not be loaded. I tried to play this converter on my Xbox but it didn't work. The controller didn't wanted to connect, and the mouse was glitching out. When I was moving my mouse, it starts to press random bottons on the game. The converter was flashing too, I don't know what was the issue because it didn't had that type of problem on the manual paper. I tried to seach on everywhere, but I can't find a solution.

PRODUCT IS AMAZING!!!
This product works very well and it actually has more uses than you think. I tried this out and it worked amazing with my Logitech G910 keyboard which i thought wouldn’t work and my wireless mouse that i also didn’t think would work with. But the thing is the adapter for switch works portable like it’s supposed to but I experimented with it and it works portably with a wired controller if you plug it in and also works as a battery pack for a mobile device. Who knows what else it can work as :). 10/10 for me.
