Another Layer Of Security!
Dozens of stolen license plates were taken not so far away from where we live. Thieves are mostly taking them and putting them on their vehicles just before they fill up at gas stations and then drive away without paying, among other things. The worst thing about this is that other plates may be left on your own vehicle when this happens -- so you risk getting pulled over for having stolen license plates/a stolen car when you'd never even noticed that your valid plates had been removed. Now, we have to look for our own plates before entering our own vehicles, and we also have to attempt to secure the plates so that it's difficult to remove them. (Buddy, you'd better hope we never land on your jury. Fed up doesn't begin to describe it.) Anyway, these are just what we needed, and we're very glad they were readily available on Amazon.

They haven't rusted they work.
I like that mine haven't rusted yet.I have used these as a replacement for security screws I purchased at AutoZone that rusted. These have been on my car for a while and I've never had an issue. I recommend keeping the screw driver tip in the car so you don't lose it. I like that they are flat too. The screws I had prior were cones and I thought they looked stupid. With flat heads there is less to grab onto making these more secure and better looking.

Don't fit; strange threading
These don't fit my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan GT. The dharvey review would've been most helpful, as the threads don't match the style of a screw you'd expect for such an application (they certainly don't look the same as the screws that are in use). If returns were accepted, I'd go through the process and move along. As they are not, I'm leaving this warning.

Hefty security screws to help avoid stolen license plates.
My wife's plates were stolen from her car at work. I decided instead of having to deal with the headaches again in the future I would get two different types of security screws for her plates. These worked great and went in nice and smooth. The description says they are stainless steel so they shouldn't rust but I will find out soon with our Wisconsin winters!I wish they offered bigger sets (6-8 screws) for minimal amount more so I could secure both plates on her car, but I was able to use two in the front and two in the back and then mix another set of security screws so nobody will bother to mess with her plates ever again. Easier to just find a different car with phillips screws!

Good alternative to stock screws.
This is a great alternative that supplies an added level of protection to those looking to protect their property. Believe me when I say that you need to be concerned about scum stealing your plates and they're more likely to do it if your plate is a specialty or other type plate that might be appealing. There's still easy ways to remove them with tools other than a screwdriver but at least it makes it more difficult on thieves and they might take the time to look at an easier target vs your property. Good luck and hopefully you never have to deal with having your plates stolen.
