Great combo, casts smooth, and has great grips
The Lews Smash combo was a great purchase, the first thing that literally anyone will notice is the great color combinations and nice grips. The Bright color makes it easy to find when put with lots of other rods, when out on the water. It has great casting ability and is about as smooth as it gets for the price of a combo, the rod it self has a modern combo look and feels great, it has a sensitive tip for feeling the bites and a strong back bone to reel in the hogs. The box it came in was a little flimsy but everything held up. Over all a 5 star rating and 10 out of 10 recommend!

Amazing combo!!!
Absolutely love this combo! Can’t go wrong with the Lews brand and this one hasn’t disappointed one bit. Caught several big fish on this thing with no problem and my personal best of 5lb 12oz and one just last week at 5lbs 3oz. Would definitely recommend so if you’re thinking about, just pull the trigger. You’ll be happy you did

Amazing for the price.
I never write reviews on anything because people have to see things for themselves...but the rod and reel is fantastic. I'll update when I actually land some fish but I've casted a bit in my pond in my backyard and the reel is so smooth. Great grip on the rod and it casts a mile with a flick of the wrist helping to cover more water. I'm a die hard pflueger guy but you can't beat this rod and reel for the price.

I use this combo for top water bass fishing, spooled it up with 10lb mono. Casts are long, and the action is good

I have already caught so many fish nothing huge but this thing brought in catfish and sheep heads like nothing and I mean nothing I love lews

So good that…
I have loved this rod and reel. The only downside…and I mean only…is that my girlfriend loves it just as much, so my time behind this one seems to diminish every day! Overall, I’m a huge fan of Lews products.
