Great dehumidifier for small to medium-sized rooms
This is a great dehumidifier for smaller to medium-sized rooms. I live in a 700 sq ft condo and this would not be effective for the whole place. I use this in my living room as a supplement to my HVAC air conditioner (which is a much bigger dehumidifier than anything I could buy on Amazon) and I've been very pleased with the results. If you're stuck using a window air conditioner, you're probably going to want one of these for each room. It'd also probably be great for small bathrooms that don't have ceiling fans to remove shower steam. It's small enough to fit comfortably on my kitchen counter without loosing more than about a square foot of countertop. It looks pretty stylish. There's a button to turn the colored light on and off, and to cycle through the available colors (blues and greens) to pause on a color you like. The color resets when you turn the unit on and off; it won't remember your selection. It doesn't take much effort to wait a second or two for the light to cycle through to the blue I like and then hit the button to pause it there. It's very quiet, like a small desk fan set on low. There's a "night mode" that turns off the light and lowers the sound even further. I've got my unit in the living room, not the bedroom, so I never bother with the night mode. I imagine it's a little less efficient at getting moisture out of the air than day mode just because a lower fan speed means less air getting pulled through it per hour. My unit seems to pull around a cup of water out of the air in a day with normal Chicago summer humidity. There have been a couple of days when it was extra humid and it did better than a cup. There was never a point where I needed to empty it every day. I typically empty it every other day and it's never half full, so I could probably go most of a week without dumping the water. It has a port for a drain hose (hose included) so that it can be set up to be self-draining, but I've never needed to use it. The way these humidifiers work is that they have cold pipes where water condenses, just like if you have a glass with a cold beverage on a hot day. The water trickles into the bottom of the dehumidifier and can't evaporate back out again. The hotter and more humid the air, the faster water condenses on the pipes and the faster water trickles into the bottom of the machine. So if you live somewhere like Georgia and don't have great A/C, you'll probably get more water per day than I do and have to empty it more often or use the drainage hose. This unit is small enough to comfortably fit on my kitchen counter if I ever needed to run the hose into the sink. Overall, I really like this dehumidifier. I wish my winter humidifier was as aesthetically pleasing. I've had it for about 2 months now. (Purchased in early July 2023.) I'll update this review if it has any issues later.

Mold is Gone!
Works great. We had mold all around the bathroom where the wall meets the ceiling. It's the bathroom everyone showers in. I bought this dehumidifier because it can drain directly into the sink. The problem has now been solved over 1 year running. I position the unti at the back corner of the sink, and turn it around backwards so the drain faces the sink, and open the little plug, it drips all day long right into the sink. I use a bottle cap to prop up the front just a bit for better dripping into the sink, but that's not required to make it work. I don't even need the enclosed hose for draining-- but you could if you wanted to place it further away from the sink on a larger countertop. I haven't had to clean the bucket a single time, because the water never builds up inside. We run it all day, and shut it off at night due to how close the bathroom is to our bedroom, so we don't hear it. But also the lower power nighttime mode is so quiet we wouldn't hear it at night anyway-- but we decided to let the motor rest at night as it's already a low humid environment in the bathroom/bedroom area thanks to running it all day. I am looking to buy another to place at the back corner of the kitchen sink... That one I would run at night since no-one will hear it from their bedroom then, and shut off during the day (opposite how we are running the unit in the bathroom). Something else-- just from the 1 unit we've been running so far it makes it so we don't have to keep the house as chilly with the AC to feel comfortable. You would be surprised but this Summer we have the thermostat set 2 degrees higher temp than last year just from the dehumidification from the 1 unit in the back bathroom. I have seen posts that people say only a little water in the reservoir (if they are not direct draining into the sink obviously) so they think it's not effective. But I say multiply that amount of water x 30 and realize that's a lot of water over 1 month. Anyway, it cured out bathroom mold problem and now I am scheming to get a second unit to reduce how often we need keep the AC running.

The PLEASURE of something that works well
It may sound a little dotty, but this is one of my favorite purchases, makes me think of the "little engine that could". I have it in my camper...we were using drying Pucks that were costing us about $20.00 every two weeks. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. It's frankly, well awesome...attractive, silent and best of all VERY affective, especially in the parts of the season before the air conditioner is operating it was taking out a full container of water every couple of days or so. Thank you for making a great little product!

Very poor performance.
This part was installed in our very small bathroom on Wednesday afternoon. When i say small bathroom, i do mean that it is just big enough for a shower, toilet and a single sink. There are 4 people living in our house and we all take at least one shower a day, the wife and myself usually take 2. There is no exhaust vent in this bathroom and we have been using a large dehumidifier to keep the humidity down. It took up too much space and was very loud. I purchased this dehumidifier thinking that it would be the perfect use for it. It would take up a smaller footprint, could drain directly into the sink so no more dumping and using less power could run 24/7. I understood that it would not be as efficient, but was not prepared for how bad it truly would be. After 5 days in service this machine barely managed to cover the bottom of the tank in a room with a layer of steam in the air and all over everything. Picture is from Sunday night. Not even a drip hanging from the drain. I even closed the door over the weekend to hold the humidity in that room. It didn't clear it in 8 hours. I believe that the reason for the poor performance is the extremely weak fan. It barely moves enough air to be felt if you put your hand directly over a vent. All of this with about the noise level of an overheating PC. So without sufficient air circulating through the machine it never would remove the humidity from any room. The coils could be seen through the grill in the front and they both had a very nice layer of condensation on them. So the coils were working, but with no air circulation there was no way for the humid air to come in contact with them. I plugged in the old large machine and the humidity level was over 80%, which the large machine took care of in literally 5 minutes to under 50% and you could hear a steam of water running into the tank when it was shut off. As stated before, there were no delusions that this machine would keep up with the large unit. I simply figured that it would clear the room out over an hour or 2 or 3 after a shower and use less power in doing so. This thing ran constant, for all 5 days, and this is all it came up with from a heavily used shower room. Does not perform as advertised, barely performs the its stated purpose at all. Do not recommend, try something else. I doubt that this machine could fill the tank if it was dropped in a lake.

Relatively acceptable
Bought two of these at the same time. Put them both into service on the same day. They both run nearly 24/7 in different bathrooms, right next to their respective toilets. One was shut off to use the outlet for something else and when it was turned back on it began to start growling when it runs. They've been running almost constant for nearly 18 months now. In an effort to just power through and use every last ounce of life from the growling unit we turned it on during the day and after about 10 minutes of operation the growling went away and we haven't turned it off since. Overall, they're little troopers and have performed admirably. They're not too loud, just have a low hum and whispy sound when operating. The only gripe I have is they don't have a red LED mode for better night vision. They don't produce too much heat, likely because they don't pull tons of water from the air. They do well for a small bathroom, though. Would buy again. Update (12 May 2025): well, one unit has officially died. It appears that the fan has seized up on the little unit. The other one that was purchased at the same time is still working well. The now-deceased unit lasted just under 1.5 years. I purchased a replacement and at checkout Amazon offered an extended warranty of 3 years for roughly $9, or 4 years for $12. If you're expecting to need the unit beyond 18 months, it might be prudent to purchase the extended warranty. I only need the new one to last another 18 months before I PCS out of this place and go back to a dry climate. Other than that, they're not half bad, just plan accordingly.

Reliable product, just as advertised
I wanted to wait to see if it held up after months of use and it does! It works excellent! I live full time in a camper and it has helped tremendously. During the summer it keeps the moisture under control so it doesn't feel so hot and that's from Georgia where it's very humid. It helped take some wear and tare off the AC units. It runs all day and night as it only takes out 80% moisture which is good because it leaves 20%. We don't want any nose bleeds right? (: but with it running that much I just dump it in the morning and keep going. The lighting it puts off isn't harsh by any means I just let it display all the colors so my 3yr old enjoys it. I did not use the drain tube as this sits in the middle area of my camper which is in the counter in the kitchen next to the sink so it's more convenient to just dump it in the morning. I have left it on and been away for a week. (Hurricane season) 🌀 and it did fill up but also did shut it self off. Over all really good buy and great if you live in a tiny house on wheels like me.

Works Really Well-Bit Lound in Very Small Bathroom-Clean Me
UPDATE-Clean me please! It has been almost 2 yrs in a very humid bathroom (smaller side) in very humid area of the country. Believed there was an issue as the lower setting did not function...wrong. Had not cleaned the inside of the unit or vents for 6? months or so. Unplugged, cleaned the Inside of the unit with small brush, herb natural cleaner and vacuumed vents. Perfect! Was user, human error, runs GREAT again! Take care of it and it will take care of you! Was initially surprised by the amount of water in the bin after 4 days. Live in So Cal and very humid year round. There is a small window in the shower area and no room fan or dehumidifier required per law. However Steam accumulates even in warm shower with the window open, yikes! This has really made a difference, still need a small wall mounted fan to reduce mirror fog. Much better with this unit! Hack, have started to Hang wet damp hang dry items in the bathroom and this Definitely reduces dry time. For that matter my very large towel drys Much faster than it used to. What could improve the unit, a quieter motor, use of less power. We have excessively high power costs and mine did go up noticeably after plugging the unit in. Also please make the cord longer, my outlet limits where I can place the unit, now it is taking up counter space and don't have much. Over all great product, does its job well. You have little risk in buying it and many benefits!

Works for our very specific needs.
Fidgety. Purchased to run in a boat when nobody is watching. The drain hose is very very short (thumb length) and difficult to get attached properly or secured. Has run mostly continuously for about a year. It is incredibly small, which suits my purpose of sitting on the galley counter/draining into the sink. As I'm not there I can't speak to how much water it pulls from the air. Based on other larger dehumidifiers we run.. I would guesstimate this holds less than an hour worth of water in the catch in a high humidity environment. It might do a single shower in a small bathroom. For our use, sat directly on the counter with a hose literally the width of the sink side, draining directly and packing away very small when not in use . I'll say it works. If it weren't sat directly over the bilge I likely would not feel comfortable running it without diy-ing a better connected hose.

Essential and efficient
I bought this to use in a basement which was slightly damp( the walls and floor were damp but I could store plastics etc with no issue). I wanted to use the room to store other things including fabrics and canned goods. It has been absolutely brilliant. The room is now nice and dry. I empty it every 5 days or so. it it very quiet, I would use this is a bathroom etc without concern about noise. The size is sufficient to be substantial without being overbearing. Buy it!

Great for allergy sufferers!
I suffer from chronic allergies, especially to mould and dust mites. Someone recommended getting a dehumidifier to help with the problem so I bought this one after looking at how many good reviews it had. I've had it for a few days now and I can already tell a massive difference in my breathing quality as well as my sleep quality. I can actually breathe through my nose and I am not able to do that often! I don't have crazy sneezing fits before I go to sleep and when I wake up. There is no condensation on my windows, in my entire apartment. I leave it on a bit before bed time and keep it on all night. There is quite a bit of water in it when I wake up, so I am very pleased with this product. It gives off very little noise in my opinion. My husband was worried about the noise while he was going to sleep at first but it ended up not bothering him at all. I don't notice it giving off any warmth, but would welcome it this time of year. Another review I saw said the charger adapter was hot, but mine is barely warm at all, even after being on all night. I also love the handle on top, which makes it super easy to move around. Super fast delivery as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend. I can't see myself living without one now. :)
