Good quality product but a bit pricey
We use this product as an alternate for white rice. The quality is good but the price could have been more reasonable. At least the delivery charges should not be levied. This product was available free of delivery charges till some months ago. Hope it is restored.

Good product. Although I dont know the proper way to cook.
I buy it for my dog. Its really good nutrition wise. Its tricky to cook it but since it cook it for my pooch, I keep it soggy. Ofcourse on its steep on the pockets though.

Average rice
They have added to much red color to the rice because of which i used to wash that rice 2 or 3 times to remove the color from it. Taste is average but the rice is easily digestive as per my experience. The person who is facing acidity problem and they are fond of rice so they can go with this rice.

Good Quality rice
Excellent rice.Cooks pretty fast.Rice seems to be natural with less preservatives.For some rice a wax like material comes out with washing.This is not good for health.Haven't seen this wax with Double horse broken matta rice.

Rinsing is key
This rice is almost like the consistency of quinoa, but denser. I love it with everything from scrambled eggs to stir fried veggies. I used the "open vessel" method. I thoroughly rinse and drain 8 times; then soak for 1 hr; pour that water off and boil for 15 mins, then simmer for 40. Pour off excess water, let stand for 5 mins, fluff with a fork. It's a process; the time spent will produce tender rice.
