Does it actually keep you dry? Seems like a dumb question but I just wore a raincoat that did not keep me dry! 🙄

Actually, no. I bought this for a trip to Iceland and the first day it rained, I threw this coat on. It was not raining that hard, but enough that you would want something on to keep you from being uncomfortably wet. Within the first 45 minutes, the coat began to soak through and the lining was wet. I don't recommend this coat unless you plan to only be in light rain for 15 minutes at a time. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.

How thick is the lining in the coat?

It is thin & not for warmth so you may want to size up if you need to layer. Love mine.

how do you get the wrinkles out

I haven’t had trouble with wrinkles. But you could try putting it the dryer on low heat for about 5 minutes. Then hang it in the bathroom for a while (moisture). I have done this with other clothing items.

Is this jacket waterproof or considered water resistant?

I wore this jacket nearly every rainy day on a 10-day Euro-trip, and it is most definitely waterproof! It was a life-saver for me.
