Bandai Hobby - Mobile Suit Gundam - #234 MS-06S Zaku II HGUC 1/144 Model Kit

I built quite a few Gundam kits when I was younger and bought this to get back into the hobby. As a fan of the original series, I like how similar this is to it's appearance in the anime, without looking too cartoonist. The build process is easy to follow but enjoyable. My only complaints are the slight struggle to articulate the lower arms and the looseness of the upper arm joints. Otherwise, it's a great build.

Super cool model kit, loved building this one

I was recommended this kit to try custom scribing and so far it's great for my first test run! It's not expensive and has plenty of surface area to try different lines and thicknesses. I might go back and paint this guy a darker red, it comes out looking a little on the light side, and maybe a darker black just to test painting.

I like this one a lot! The tubing in particular really adds, and the skirt is just wonderful. However, I had a lot of trouble posing him compared to other Gunpla, he doesn't handle crouching or aiming his gun very well. So posing, for me at least, had to be done fairly generic, but still a BLAST to put together and looks great! Huge recommendation!

One didn't know it was a build kit, however that is on us thought it was an actual figure but the instructions we can't see. Not in English Side note if you want time spent with your child this yes get it. This is definitely a time to spend and build together hubby and son are enjoying the quality time together. Son was upset at first that it wasn't solid made action vs a kit but he is enjoying the time they're spending together so I changed the star to a four.

It was incredibly easy to put together, I'd definitely say this is beginner friendly. It moves around nice and you can pose it however you want. The weapons are really cool, especially the axe. The only thing I'd say to watch out for is the sticker, there is one sticker for the eye and the sheet it comes on must be tiny because I completely lost it. If you do lose it then it's no big deal, you could paint on an eye yourself since it's just a circle.
