Has anyone used this in a cat litter box? I read that activated carbon will eliminate litter box odor when added to clumping litter.

It probably will work, it has carbon to neutralize odors and a way to trap ammonia (urine has a pretty fair amount of ammonia.) It's certainly not going to hurt to try it, the cat might even enjoy a frangrance free box.

Is this type of carbon better than the regular Diamond Blend Activated Carbon?

The blend of carbon and zeolite (the white stuff) increases the amount of ammonia absorbed and gives you a better range of capacity of a fish tank. It also extends the time between water changes, but I would only use that extra time for times when you can't clean the tank at the normal time. It gives you a safety margin and for that reason alone its worth using. You dont have to use it, but it's a better way to go.

is this more dust, pellet or grain in texture?

Grain it is more ammonia crystals than carbon. If you want a 50/50 mix buy some more carbon.

What are the ingredients, is it just activated carbon and zeolite? Or are there other additives?

Use this to accomplish less maintenance in the fish tank.

Lo uso en mi filtro de canasta para mi tanque de tortugas y me ha resultado muy bueno, mantiene el agua cristalina. Cabe mencionar que antes de usarlo hay que lavarlo muy bien ya que si lo usas directo del bote el polvo que tiene ensucia mucho el agua y tendrás que cambiarla toda.
