These are great! And at a great price!This is the kind my dad had when I was growing up 50 years ago.I have bought several of the other kinds that have a trigger that you pull to spray the water. They are usually made with plastic inside even though they look like they are pretty strong on the outside, even metal on the outside. And all of those other types have broken or leak in a fairly short time, less than a year - sometimes three or four months.I'm hoping this one will last a long long time and it should because it's a very basic design and all metal as far as I know except for the washer inside which of course is plastic or rubber.It also shoots the water much further than any of the others especially on the jet setting.As soon as I installed it, I noticed there were no leaks and it works great.It's super easy to use. All you do is turn it left or right!I love it when I find a good product, and this is one of them!If I have any problems with it within one year I will update my review to reflect that.

I've run several types of garden hose nozzle over the years. This type two-piece brass nozzle tends to be one of the most durable types around. The only reason I'm buying this one is because I misplaced one very much like it recently. While I don't have a flow meter to compare it with anything else, this one feels like it has just a bit more flow and just a bit sharper stream than its predecessor, at least when running on a 3/4th garden hose. It also shuts cleanly, with minimal water dripping by with the nozzle closed, which not all of these twist nozzles do. Certainly good enough to turn off the flow between washing and rinsing outdoor items, for example.Mine came with 3 hose washers: One installed in the nozzle and two extra in the box. Perhaps they figured that customers might have other leaking hoses? Or perhaps because it's cheaper than dealing with returns just because a washer ended up faulty? It was utterly unnecessary on my unit, the washer that came installed worked great out of the box.

Still the best type of hose nozzle on the market, nice heavyweight brass feel, no plastic breakable parts or degrade. 0nly the hose bib ring and a "o" ring.

Had these nozzles a while now. They have worked very well. Still shut off without leaking and spray as expected. Would buy again if they ever do quit.

I am delighted with this product. It didn't require any tools (channel locks) to tighten enough to get a water-tight seal. Also, the spray had better distance and more patterns than my old nozzle (Gilmour). Since this is brass I expect it to last longer than a plastic, which breaks down and loses function over time. I normally leave these outside on the hose during winter and I expect less wear and tear on this product, maybe some tarnish, but not the total degradation I've been getting on my other tools.

The hose nozzle worked great and fit the hose perfectly without any water dripping etc. It is well built and seems like it will last a long time.

Buy it, works great! Shuts off, many various spray types and does not leak. Built to last and priced right!
