Another Festool toolbox, and another satisfied customer, for the most part. These will work with most other Systainers, of course, although it's anyone's guess which ones might not work. It is a mystery of the Festool arcana. Customizable, reorganizable bins! Great! You can buy additional ones in different shapes and sizes for a (unsurprisingly) princely sum. Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene FTW. Is it worth it? No. Is any Festool product worth it? Probably not. Is it great? Yes. My only actual complaint about this is that heavier-weight contents will actually start to deform some of the plastic, which can make it hard to close the container depending on the distribution. Just be mindful of this. I find it annoying how for $85 you don't get, say, solid metal latch hardware. This is NOT a jobsite toolbox-- for one of those, look for a DeWalt ToughSystem 2.0 or a Milwaukee Packout if you have several million dollars to spare. These are heavy duty, but don't expect to load it up with solid brass parts and then drop it on concrete-- it WILL splinter into a bazillion pieces. That said, protect it and care for it and it will serve you reliably for many moons.

This thing is pretty nice. The lid is thick but clear. My plan for this was to go under the sys tool box with the cantilever trays. For that it works great. Pros; It’s thin but rugged. You can’t dump the contents out when it’s locked You can arrange stuff however you want Cons; This box’s box’s, aren’t the same size as the other insert boxes you can buy for a sortainer, combi systainer or the tool box. The insert boxes that come with this new style are smaller and shorter. I have not yet found additional insert boxes that fit this yet. Due to the raised pattern on the bottom of the 204853 and that same pattern on the bottoms of its own insert boxes, you cannot fit the other insert boxes in this unit. Anytime there is another t loc systainer underneath this box and it’s in the locked position, that front handle rests on the lower systainers t loc. Meaning it doesn’t sit flat.

I bought this for my husband and it is exactly what he wanted. He uses it in his wood shop.

I have 6 of these and they work great for organizing small parts. Having the ability to customize the internal boxes to meet your needs is nice. The only downside is that stacking them is a pain so I would like to make a drawer system to fit them in. Overall there a nice bit a kit.

These are perfect sustainers for small parts. Easy to see through the lid and of course they are Festool! I’m so well organized now I don’t know what to do with myself. Lol

good quality. the only thing I don't like is you either have to buy the one with all the tiny boxes or the one with the big boxes it would be nice if they were a little more mixed up without having to buy both systainers and then mix as you need.
