This pump arrived fairly quickly even though it came from Canada. The quality appears to be very good. My father and I installed it in a matter of a few hours, and the wiring was easy to install. The wires were color coded and the electrical box is very nice. I am very impressed so far. I will update if I notice any issues in the future.

Pump seems to working fine. The problem was that it came from Canada and that fact was not disclosed when we paid for expedited shipping. Amazon gave me credit for the shipping costs since I was dealing with a 3rd party. I was extremely pleased with their generosity. BUT I live on a farm with 200 goats and had to haul water during kidding season while I waited over a week for the new pump to arrive.

I bought this pump packaged with the controls from the Canadian distributer (I live in Canada). It ran fine at first, then started popping the overload breaker on the controls about 2 years later. Spent 2 days pulling the pump out of the well, looking for chaffed wires, or other issues, found nothing. Noticed they had "upgraded" the controls being shipped, Now with 2 capacitors and a switching relay. The control sent with mine was apparently undersized along with the single starting/running capacitor. Ordered the new controls, and it worked fine again. Last month (1 year 6 months later) it was popping the main (overload) breaker again, repeatedly. Lots of investigation, instrumentation, testing and the results were purely random. Sometimes it worked, other times it needed 3 tries on resetting the breaker with 45 amp loads recorded!, then as if nothing had ever gone wrong. Could last 3 days, 5 hours, 1 cycle of the pump. Frustration for a month, situation worsening, wife freaking out, many dishwasher loads, washing machine loads, showers, toilette flushes and daily living interrupted.Today, in desparation I took apart the switching relay and noticed the contacts were burnt and spring arm deformed from overheating. After filing and straightening it worked again, except I noticed a slight chatter in the relay, and a little bit too much current draw for too long on start-up. Then I noticed the starting capacitor was also warm. Checked it with my instruments, fine. Decided to trace the wiring as a last resort. Found the relay was actually switching the runing capacitor into and out of the circuit, rather than the starting capacitor! Wiring was exactly as shown in accompanying pictures, which is patently wrong. Rewired it, no more issues.The crap these people ship out, they are probably still doing so never realizing that the innards of their product are wired backwards! Then they busy themselves selling replacement capacitors! What a way to screw people!!!. I wonder where this stuff is actually manufactured. If I weren't an engineer, I'd still be chasing my tail.

I have been running this well pump for over 4 years now. It has not skipped a beat once. We have a small ranch home with only 2 adults and 2 children, but we water a lot in the summer. I installed the pump myself in my 230ft well with water level at 60ft from the surface.

Excellent pump. Two weeks after purchasing our place the old3/4 HP well pump went out in a 300' well. Really did not want to have to pull the pump again so I went with a larger pump. This pump has been in the well for 18 months now and performed flawlessly. Will buy another one when we need it for a second well.
