For years I used Chock-Full-of Nuts, a medium roast, and finally discovered the better aroma and taste of a good dark roast. But as I drink only one cup a day, for greater freshness iI've gone back buying smaller (12 oz) bags at my local grocery

I've been on a coffee kick lately and I've been trying out a variety of different coffees. I'm a fan of dark roast coffees and I keep coming back to this one. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about this roast that has a nice body and real presence to it. I don't mind paying more for quality, but I expect to get what I pay for and some other brands really fall short considering their price. On the other hand, Peet's Organic French Roast really delivers on flavor and value for the money. In fact, I actually like it quite a bit more than higher priced coffees that I've tried. I guess that's why I keep coming back to it. Four tablespoons and 16 ounces of water is a quick and easy mix and I'm good for a couple of hours. Great stuff!
