Fantastic product
We purchased this float, more like a mini pontoon, for a family day at the lake. It was amazing and we all had so much fun relaxing and playing on it. It was so sturdy that we didn’t feel like we had to baby it. It took about 15 minutes to inflate with a power inflator we purchased at Home Depot. I would suggest getting a good quality inflator as it’s a huge raft. There were no downsides to this purchase. I would suggest that they do away with the cheap cooler/lunch bag that they include in the purchase. We tossed ours in the trash halfway thru the day. It doesn’t keep water in or out and it didn’t keep anything cold. Two suggestions: 1. Power inflator is a must. We got battery operated one from the power tool section at Home Depot. No way we would want to use a foot pump for that thing! 2. Purchase a big/deep tote or a heavy duty bag to store it and carry it around. It’s 56 pounds and doesn’t fit back in the box. We got a tote so it wouldn’t get damaged.

Hardier than you think
Bought this for the family lake house in Minn so the family could have a destination to swim to off the dock. Inflating this took some time due to all the different air zones, but once inflated it kept the air quite well. Understanding that it was made with the typical floatie type vinyl/plastic I didn’t really think it would hold up, but it did. We would bring it on shore at night due to wind and waves but there was a night that we forgot and a major storm came through. Thinking that this floatie island sunk to the bottom or was ripped up and was hanging on someone else’s dock, we headed out in the morn to retrieve what was left. Surprisingly, the floatie was only 10’ away from where we anchored it, totally fine and still inflated with the canopy still attached on one side. Checked it out and nothing was torn or broken. Impressed! Great place to hang out with adults and kids alike, and for those who tend to burn easily, can get out from the sun via under the canopy. For the money, it’s definitely worth it. Recommend.

Big Float
I’ve only used my float once so far. I’m going to use it again today. I’m going to give my tips because it’s very important to anyone considering purchasing this they have everything they need to make it a fun time. I did my research ahead of time with only one small mistake. You need at least two heavy anchors. I purchased one. It was a dry bag with rope you tye to the float. It holds up to 50lbs of sand. You definitely need two. The anchor worked well though I just ordered a second. Also, you need a way to carry it to the bay or dock. Depending on where you plan to bring this. It’s extremely heavy. I bought a beach cart with fat tires because I was going to be walking across sand. A cheaper option would be a rolling tote with a handle. You also need a way to blow it up. I wanted to be able to do it all at the bay so I ordered battery powered airpumps. They are around 15 dollars each. With two people blowing up the float it took us maybe 20 minutes. Deflating it was faster and super easy. I’m a little worried about the wear and tear and how it will hold up. It seems like a good product but has some mixed reviews. I will update this review after more uses. Today will be our second time. I hope this helps.

Amazing purchase
I have to say we were so worried that this was going to pop. We have had this for 2 years now and it is so sturdy. We actually kept this out on the water (anchored down of course) during a storm because it came in too fast to take it out of the water. We were worried it would either be gone or ruined but it is still perfect. We keep this in our camper and we use 2 battery powered mattress inflator to get it inflated it takes about 30-45 minutes to fully inflate. It is just 2 of us that use it but you could easily have 6 adults on it comfortably. The awning is super easy to put on and take off. It can withstand some wind for sure! Notvsurr what is is rated for but We had it out on the lake with 15 mph wind gusts. It did give way some but whem It got too much we took it off while out in the middle of the lake super quick and easy.

Amazing if you only want to use once!
Took this out of the box and it worked like a champ! So much fun had- seemed durable and great quality..... until I went to use it a second time and it was full of holes. The only thing I did was clean it off, fold it up properly, and store it in a storage bin. Purchased another one and exact same thing. Worked great out of the box. After use I washed it, folded it up like it came, and stored it for two weeks. Went to go use it again and there were holes along side most of the cupholders and in two other random areas not even on seams. This island was not dragged or rested on anything sharp. I am honestley dumb founded how it got so many holes in so many random areas. I was hoping my first experience was a one-off, but it appears the quality of the float is questionable if you plan to use it more than once. I certainly did not get my moneys worth-not even close. Very disappointed.

Great float for the price!
I took it on the American river which has a one small rapids with a drop and mainly just east floating. It’s great for just floating but hard to go fast. Oars are a MUST it’s a little heavy to even pull in waters so I wouldn’t use this without 4 or more people to help. It took super long time to inflat. I inflated at home two days before and kept inflated over night. There were a lot of people on the river with the same float. A bit hard to get back on from the water. Overall I like it a lot for big groups. The Sunshade is awesome but can catch wind and blow you off course. And cooler area fills with water.

Worth ever penny!
We bought this for a weekend on the lake with 5 adults and 5 kids. It’s was PERFECT. The canopy was a life saver for littles needing out of the sun. Cooler was perfect size for drinks and snacks. Can easily be carried with 2-3 adults once inflated. We used a portable air pump and had it filled up and ready to go in about 20 minutes! Very sturdy vinyl material. Easy to deflate.
