normally dont do reviews but here goes - i replaced my typical round strimmer wire for this star shaped wire - feels just a little thicker but maybe just the star shape. wire is tougher to cut with stanley blade. my garden is mostly edged with concrete edgers which breaks my normal round wire alot. this star wire cuts very nice and does not break so much or at all compared to the old round standard wire. then tried on long grass in very over grown lane behind the house - it worked very well old stuff would have broke like 20 times in same space which this did not and cut long grass very well - highly recommend it and would buy again if i ever need it but think it will last a long time with less breaks

Cuts well while it lasts, does well with long meadow grass and will go through thin brambles. Breaks off fairly quickly on medium brambles, but will still manage to cut a bit. Any kind of sycamore sapling - forget it! It would be interesting to see if a heavy gauge would last longer.

Last longer than a cheap line. Quality always worth that bit more.

Wir nutzen diesen Trimmfaden in einem Maktia-Trimmer. Insgesamt ist dieser deutlich besser und stabiler als der mitgelieferte von Makita. Auch hat dieser bedingt durch seine Form eine merklich bessere Schnittleistung als runde Trimmfäden. Ich würde das Produkt wieder kaufen.
