Works very well for picky eaters and can perk up your senior buddy
Our cat is very old and has kidney issues. He also hates wet food. This was our last resort, and he loves it. We can now sneak kidney wet food using this as a cover. I arming, though: all other cats will come running. We now have to separate him from the 3- and 4-year-old girls. Smells strong, not going to lie. I am not a fan of fish and this is fishy. That’s probably a good sign. However, getting my senior cat on food with health benefits featuring pumpkin is critical. I have seen my old guy get a little better (he is likely 18-20 years old, so there are limitations on his health) and he has more energy and less dehydration. It seems effective at doing what pumpkin food does. No quality issues so far!

Taking Sr Cat Nutrition to the next level
This has been great for our senior (17) cat who is probably finishing his 9th life. Most Sr cat food requires a healthy jaw and digestive system and for our sweet Smokey solid food has become a challenge. With Tiki Cat Mousse we are able to make sure he's still getting his nutritionally needs met. The other soft mouse like foods on the market are labeled as 'treats only' and have very little quality calories. Packaging is easy to open and serve. It's pricey but for the quality and necessity it's money well spent for an aging valued member of the family when he needs us the most.

Cat likes it
My senior cat got pretty sick and started losing a lot of weight , these food pouches are helping her get her weight back . She really likes the taste , they are a bit pricey but she eats it without a problem . I like that it’s tailored to older cats so she’s getting what she needs . The ingredients seem to be good quality. The fiber has been gentle on her she hasn’t had any tummy issues . The one thing I disliked was the packing the box is always messed up but luckily the food pouches aren’t affected .

Wow… 17 yr old cat actually eats it. Long review but hopefully informative?
So my 17 yr old cat was not eating much and was getting quite thin. I knew she didn’t like to crunch on the dry kibble anymore, and other wet foods she wasn’t too keen on either. I asked my vet if I should feed her kitten food to help her gain weight (my ignorance) and she said that cat food for seniors is easier to digest, it’s not just about the calories. She said to check out a mousse texture for cat food because older kitties can lick it rather than chew it. I thought I was a super cat mom but I had never heard of mousse cat food. Is it new? Idk lol I would previously try to entice her with more liquidy ‘toppers ’ on her food but she would only eat the topper. These other ‘topper’ products are not ‘complete foods’ meaning they are mostly oil and broth and aren’t a substitute for a balanced cat food. So I looked up cat mousse food, the benefits to senior cats, and found this Tiki Cat Silver one in Salmon. The reviews were great all around. And she immediately loved it. CAT PARENT VICTORY Yayyy lol so jazzed I didn’t waste more money on food she won’t eat! And she’s actually excited to eat, follows me into kitchen, and that’s been years since that was the case. She is able to lick the food and I know and trust she’s getting the nutrients she needs. Bonus: No throwing up afterward and TMI but her poops are super normal and not as hard as they were. I can tell it’s good for her health. The only kicker is the packaging like many other reviews here have mentioned. It comes in a foiled pouch with way too much food for a days amount. Best practice in our house is empty rest of contents into a container in fridge and when I serve her next day, put her portion in microwave for 8 seconds to get the texture back and she’s had no issues eating it. But seriously, Tiki Cat owner peoples, listen to us cat folks please! consider changing packaging to a screw top pouch. Then this food would (at least in this house) be PURRRRRfect. Had to :)

No waste! One $2 pouch = two $1 cans, bc they actually eat it
This has been a godsend for me & my geriatric cats. They love it and are finally actually gaining a little weight. No matter what canned food I serve, they just lick up the juice/moisture and leave the meaty/pate bits. A huge waste and they get very little nutrition out of it. I’ve tried everything, even puréeing it. No luck. When I serve this mousse, they eat 100% of it. No waste. They leave empty plates and walk away with full bellies (and stopped throwing up every other day). It even contains pumpkin for a little gentle digestive help. It’s better for them and *they actually eat it* so imo, ounce-for-ounce of actual edible content, a $2 pouch of (healthier, no-filler) Tiki Cat is a better deal than two $1 cans of FF.

Good food
Cat really liked these! Very easy to feed. We only stopped because we found out he has CKD and we needed to switch to a food that supported his kidneys.

Not everyone's cup of tea apparently
My cats do not like this! They like salmon so it's really disappointing why they wouldn't like this deluxe delectable version. I was looking for something to put some weight on one of my seniors.

excellent for sickly/older cats
our cats won’t actually eat these on their own, we ended up giving away all fish flavors after our big boy passed from lung cancer. We kept the kitten versions for it is very useful to have when you have a cat that won’t eat due to illness and now in our case, due to age of our old cat. Currently feeding him one kitten chicken and one senior chicken or salmon with 20ml syringes. each packet fills almost 3 - 20ml syringes. These are horrible to get food out because of how packet is made but, if you turn packet upside down and squeeze food toward top and then cut open packet about an inch from bottom, it makes it so much easier to get almost all the food out of packet.. overall decent ingredients but, texture is not really liked by our cats...however this is an awesome food texture to feed through syringes when needed.. some of the fish flavors have slight tiny chunks which makes food get stuck in syringe, the kitten and senior chicken & senior salmon usually do not.
