Are these pans free of heavy metals (lead, cadmium, arsenic,..)?

Made in Korea, it should be free of heavy metals as Korea has very strict laws and penalties even US cannot match.However, there are other copycat brands I have seen in Amazon that are made in China, those brands also available in Walmart and supermarkets. I will stay away from those brands.

What do you not like about it? does it peel, does it work with high heat?

i like everything about it. i have owned mine for over a year and it performs as well today as the day it arrived. it is my go-to pan for practically all my cooking needs. it has not chipped nor peeled. you can crank up the heat and it performs excellently.
