I had to adapt a Blue Ox tow bar to a 3801-1 olerder style roadmaster base plate. Which meant that I had to machine the roadmaster adapter to fit the older style base plate. I am a tool and die journeyman, so this was not a big issue for me. If you are not a machinist I would suggest going directly to the roadmaster web site. I actually did this with little satisfaction. The next step would be to go to a RV installer, but be prepared to pay (even if they would agree to do it)..
