Yep, its expensive. I have used many different lubricants on my firearms where metal meets metal (ie: rails, etc.). Many others work well. But this is clearly they best. It has perfect viscosity, remains where you put it and stays there even after hard use. I made a significant investment in my sporting firearms (for USPSA, etc.), this lubricant is the best for them. I use it sparingly only on high wear points. It should not be used as a CLP.

I've been a recreational shooter for over 50 years, and I always thought that gun oil was gun oil, there was not a thing you could do to really make a difference. That is until I tried Gun Butter. It will last longer on your slide rails than any product I've ever tried (short of grease, but grease can sometimes make your problems worse in certain environments.) Yes, it cost a bit more than most oils, but I only use half as much. I called my buddies and family members who shoot regularly and they all ordered it. Bunch o happy shooters now!

This stuff is great! Just very expensive.

Very good Gun oil. Has a thicker viscosity than other oils. A little goes a long way> Ithink it is a good value for the money.
