GLOBE HG 125 Blazer Longboard

This thing is slightly wider and slightly longer than the bantam. The main difference between the two boards is that this one is made of wood like your average skateboard so it's a stiffer and slightly bumpier ride. This thing rides much more like a normal skateboard would as opposed to the longboardish feel of the bantam. On top of that one push with this doesn't get you very far on a rougher surfaced street like the bantam would. On top of that the paint on mine started chipping just hours after riding it, and the trucks squeek more than my dogs toys do. The turn radius on this when you loosen the trucks is insane though. Long story short it's this or the bantam and I think you're gonna want the bantam over this

More like a penny board than a long board. Thought it was going to be wider but only the peak width is 8 in.

What a beautiful board!!! Went beyond my expectations for the price. Great shape and dimensions for a guy like me who grew up through the Dogtown, Skateboarder Magazine era. Smooth, fast, and we'll made as expected of a Globe product...yeeeeeha!!!!!

The only reason ive given this product 4/5 stars is because i have yet to truly break the board in and discover its true potential. Let me start by saying ive owen the Bantam, which was a great board but after about a year of heavy abuse the deck is extrememly warped. The bearings which come in most Globe completes leave lots to be desired, of course they will get you from A to B but on numerous occasions i have had these bearing De-hub. (meaning the guts just spill out everywhere) luckily i was traveling a low speed otherwise i could have been seriously injured. Also, the bushings on both the bantam and the Blazer do not have great return to center which is why i recommend switching them (or at least one of them) out for more bounce in your turning. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING. Board was deliver in only 2 days, which was two days prior to the estimated delivery date. Bravo. Of course the boards defaults are at no fault of the distributer but of the manufacturer. Ghost Host did an amazing job shipping this complete to me rapidly along with extra goodies. At 63$ shippped it was truly a steal. All in all, Go globe. And thank you Ghost Host, i RECOMMEND

je suis grand et je m'en debrouille tres bien (aussi stable que le Bantam/Cruiser Globe qui est le meilleur de sa categorie). Roulements de qualité. Pregrip suffisant pour le moment.
