This is a great monitor. Before i bought it i read the reviews and some said that the curve was too much, i disagree, the size and curve is just right. Quality is great, price was great. what more can i say.

MSI Laptop And This Monitor Works Great!
My old monitor finally gave up the ghost and I wanted a new monitor to use with my MSI laptop for gaming. I liked the price of this monitor and since I've never tried a curved one I decided to buy this one because I trust ASUS products. I was not disappointed and was thrilled with the quality of picture and the curve really adds to getting immersed into my games. Assassins Creed Odyssey looks just awesome and I was blown away at how good Metro Exodus looks. My old Samsung monitor just doesn't compare. Now I have to go and replay all my games to enjoy this beautiful monitor. I had no problems connecting to my laptop and I really didn't have to adjust anything. Just plug and play and away I went. The speakers aren't the best but if you have some decent headphones or soundsystem (I'm using KRK speakers and also have KRK headphones) you should have a really good immersive session in your games. Movies and Youtube look great on it too. I will buy another one if I buy another desktop PC for my home studio. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Overall Great Monitor
The size of this monitor is impressive. The picture is smooth, and crisp. Set up was easy. Only has 1 HDMI port, but that’s something you can work with. I have mine connected to a PS5 with upgraded HDMI cord. Luxury 😂. Got here in 2 days even though it said next day, but the wait was worth it.

Smooth, Fast, and Affordable: ASUS TUF Gaming Monitor Delivers Where It Counts
I’ve been using the ASUS TUF Gaming 1080p monitor for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the best budget-friendly displays I’ve owned for fast-paced gaming. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make a huge difference—everything feels incredibly fluid, whether I’m playing competitive shooters or just scrolling through menus. It’s equipped with an IPS panel, so colors look vibrant and viewing angles are solid, which is great since I’m not always sitting dead center. I also appreciate the inclusion of FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility, which really smooths out gameplay with no tearing or stuttering. The design is clean and gamer-focused, and although the stand only tilts, I was able to set it up comfortably with a monitor arm. The 1080p resolution is fine on the 24-inch model—perfectly sharp for most games and daily use—but I do notice some pixelation when sitting too close on the 27-inch version. If I had to nitpick, the contrast isn't great, especially in darker games or dim lighting, and the HDR feature is more of a checkbox than a game-changer. Still, for a monitor in this price range, it nails the essentials. It’s fast, reliable, and gets out of the way so I can just enjoy the games.

UPDATED: good value for console 1080p 120hz
9/2/2021 - UPDATE: after using this monitor with PS5 I can confirm it works well at 1080P 120hz. I have grown to really like the monitor for console gaming. I also have a series S , so I will be curious to see if I can get 144hz at 1080 P on that. Overall for the price and performance at 1080p 120hz I can't complain. If you are looking for higher quality picture over frame rate than you will need to look elsewhere. I primarily play FPS games and more focused on getting the best refresh rate. 5/12/2021 - This monitor is large, quite big coming from a 27 Inch, something to keep in mind. I have it plugged in to a USB-C hub from a macbook air m1 , I initially had a flickering issue on the screen. Oddly though only when I had a web-site called tradingview open looking at charts.. It could be related to the M1 macbook, the cable, the usb-c hub I am not sure. I messed with some settings figuring it had to do with that. I ended up in Eco mode which disables ELMB and something else. No flickering issues since I did that. I am fine in eco mode right now using this monitor for work with bluelight filter on. I will be testing on PS5 once I receive mine. Then I will update after using the PS5 for a little while. If the ps5 works fine out of eco mode I will be happy with the purchase. It is a large screen and can operate at 1080p 120 hz with PS5 as per the ASUS web-site. For this price range if you can deal without 1440p or 4K it's not bad. Currently I'd say 3 stars it's a nice monitor , but need to verify everything is working how it should be before upping that score.

Enjoying this monitor
Love the picture and really like the screen size, I come from a 32 inch led tv as a monitor so this was a massive upgrade in quality and just general improvement in visuals, there's a lot of settings you can alter to your liking to make it appease to your eyes, when I first fired it up the color was so intense I got an instant headache but as soon as I changed the contrast and some of the color warmth my eyes fell in love, can look at it all day and my eyes not bother me

darn near perfect
For what I'd say is a ridiculous fair price for a monitor this thing just blows me away. The picture is perfect. The response rate is insane when playing games. There's no stutter and absolutely nothing I can say bad about it. I do wish I could raise or lower the screen a little but that's just a minor thing that I wouldn't even take off a percentage point for it. Buy this monitor and you will not regret it.

It doesn't have a DP 2.1 port but it's still capable of AMD free sync without it
Compared to my 27", a couple notes about this 32": 1) The base doesn't allow for raising or lowering. It is set at just one height. 2) It doesn't have a DP 2.1 port BUT it's still capable of AMD free sync, a misnomer I've had based on misinformation I was told that only DP 2.1 ports are free sync capable. I can't speak for Gsync though and the box doesn't indicate support for it. ONLY AMD free sync. Notes: The monitor it replaced was also a gaming curved screen but I began developing eye strain, mostly becuase I felt that the size of the screen was to blame. I still like the old monitor, the 27" ROG strixx by Asus is a well-crafted monitor. I went with this one, Asus TUF 32" because it had the ASUS name and first day, out of the box, using it, I am pleased with it so far.

Exceptional monitor
I upgraded to the ASUS TUF Gaming VG328H1B 32” Curved Monitor, and it has been an excellent addition to my setup. The size is perfect—not too overwhelming, but large enough to see every detail clearly. The 1080P Full HD resolution might not be as sharp as 4K, but it still looks fantastic, especially considering the price point. One of the standout features is the 165Hz refresh rate. The smoothness this provides during fast-paced games is immediately noticeable. Overall, the ASUS TUF Gaming VG328H1B offers incredible value for the price. It combines a large, immersive curved screen with a high refresh rate, making it perfect for gamers who want an enhanced visual experience without denting your wallet too much.
