What is the difference between the current and 'original' product?

I’m not sure what one means by current and original but they offer two types of silica. One is made from horsetail and the other from quartz. I’ve tried them both and see a noticeable difference with the quartz.

Did anybody else receive a white bottle cap instead of a black?

I received product with white bottle cap

Good question. I believe this product is pH neutral. It's not going to be acidic as it's not made from coffee. It's made from quartz crystals, which makes this a neutral pH product. Feel free to ask them on their website but I think they will give you a similar reply.

What is the shelf life?

After opening the bottle it is three months when refrigerated.
