ResMed AirFit F20 and AirFit F30 QuietAir Elbow

Of the various CPAP elbows I've tried, this is the best. It fits well and stays quiet--most of the time. However, I clean it weekly along with the hose. After cleaning (which I do in the morning), the elbow makes noise that night. The only way to stop that is to run the machine through its leakage test at high pressure. I let the whole test run, less than three minutes. The test is quite noisy. When the test ends and the pressure lowers, the elbow quiets down. I think water from the cleaning process gets into the donut-shaped part (perhaps there's a fabric filter in there?) and the elbow will make noise until it's thoroughly dried after cleaning. Maybe I need two of them, and alternate them every week so that I'm using one while the other's drying.

This works great! On rare occasions this piece sounds like it is leaking but my machine has not registered a leak. Will buy again.

The elbow I received was not what was pictured on the listing and it leaks like crazy. I went with the Resmed OEM elbow after reading reviews and when I received it, it is not the same elbow as what is pictured in this listing. It blows air out like crazy, unlike my old Resmed elbow. My wife told me she noticed it was blowing cold air on her when I switched to the new elbow. I requested a replacement, if Resmed sends to elbow in the picture that doesn't leak like crazy and blow air all over my wife, I'll put this up to 5 stars, but for now, I'm back to my old elbow as this new one is garbage.
