Semi-rigid or solid vent pipe is always best, The flimsy, flexible hoses do not seal well and gather excess lint inside in a 12 month period.I have installed this elbow with all types of exhaust dryer vent pipe/hose!

Great fix for tight right angle issues

Perfect for tight fit. My case was an over/under apartment style unit, and installer just bent the corrugated metal vent tube and left a dust trapping kink. This unit fixed the problem and actually had some helpful instructions for various applications. Be sure to have some metallic duct tape on hand to seal and secure it.
