The Big Book of Dolch Sight Word Activities Workbook

Love the book and the information that is in it. This will be very helpful to my kids.

Lots of different exercises to do, like unscrambling sentences and just writing words. Lots of other interesting things that keep kids engaged.

Provides different activities using the necessary dolch site words for kids learning to read.

I used it to tutor my 1st grader and it was an excellent resource.

My son's word recognition, retention, and writing drastically improved with this workbook in conjuction with the Dick&Jane books. I recommend this workbook to all my friends and my son's teachers. Writing the words, then an activity with the words, then reading them in a sentence is good, non-boring repetition that reinforces the language in my son's mind. He struggles with speech and gets frustrated easily with it but this book is really helping build his confidence with speech as well because he can read and recognize words. Can't say enough about this workbook, it's done so much already and we are only half way through!

I am tutoring a special needs teen, and he really likes to work in this. Not only does it give the dolch words, he must apply them. It has improved his writing skills also.

Dolch words from pre-primer to Level 3. Includes flash cards that can also be used for word walls. Words are grouped in workable units for student study. After every three lessons there are reviews for those who still need some extra work, and each Level has it's own review also. Great teaching tool to aid in learning these high-usage words.

This book has been a wonderful resource for my daughter who has down syndrome. She is 7 years old and loves using this book! She gets so excited about what she has learned. Thank you :)

My daughter was behind learning sight words, so I used this book to help her catch up. We both really liked using the book. I highly recommend it.

The lesson pace is well thought-out and teaches an important set of sight words. We're using this for homeschooling our Kindergardener during the covid quarantine, and it's proving to be highly effective. I'd highly recommend photocopying the sight word sheets onto thicker white cardstock, and using those as flash cards for review several times a day.

This book is easy to use and lets the child gradually master the words. I do one page a day with my son and so far his confidence is building in reading the directions and independently answering the page. I’d like to see more of these books. :)

This is a great book for helping children that are struggling or behind in the level they should be at school. The activities are varied from writing, circle the best answer, yes or no, unscramble the sentence. If I could give this book more stars I would as it is FANTASTIC

I found this book simple and straight forward and lessons built easily in a manner my students could readily approach. Great resource!
