Do you need a sealer as well?

A sealer before waxing provides the most resistance to water/liquid intrusion .. the wax helps to protect the film based sealer .. penetrating sealers. The ultimate would be a penetrating sealer like citra-seal with concrete sealer on top and a wax on top.. in regards to indoor concrete surfaces with a high exposure to liquids .. hope this helps !

can this be used to seal concrete vessel for candles? and is it non toxic when candle is lit?

If the intent or expectation is that the candle is fully liquid (high temp ) this wax will not hold up to temperatures above 200F .. but not quite sure what the goal is? Prevent liquid paraffin from penetrating into concrete ? But it is definitely not toxic .. all natural carnauba and beeswax and is water based.

Can this product be used on concrete sinks?

It sure can. However! Wax has a low melting temperature ~180F so prolonged exposure to super hot water will gradually wash it away. The good news is that applying the wax is simple and a single can will last you a loooong time.

Will this change the color of cement countertops?

It did not change the color of my outdoor concrete countertops except to maybe brighten them up a little.

Doesn't prevent staining.

It did make the surface smoother/softer... but it doesn't seem to prevent stains. Note: Used on white Terrazzo kitchen counter tops.
