I've been using the visionary keto chicken kibble, and wanted to get my dogs a change in flavor. My very picky German Shepard seems to like it. She won't eat a lot of dog food. I feel it's a good rotation option. I like that there is no unnecessary ingredients! I put a lot of time into researching dog food, and decided to give visionary dog food a chance. My dogs look great!! And picking up the yard is easier. Their 💩 looks solid and doesn't smell strong at all!! I use this kibble when I don't have time to make homemade dog food. Which seems to be getting harder to do. I feel that if they aren't eating homemade food, at least this brand isn't full of carbs and unnecessary ingredients!!! One thing is to take your time when switching over, it's different then most other dog foods, and it could upset their tummy if switched to fast.!!!!Thank you visionary!!!

I train K-9 units for a living. I help with the transition from work to home for retired K-9s as well, military or local enforcement. My primary unit, who is a Stafford shire Terrier, 11 years old and jut hasnt been himself over the past 4 months. constant mood issues, always sleeping, unmotivated to even go out side, very challenging to get to go to the bathroom, could take up to 40 minutes which is really unnatural for him.For myself, I had issues all my life with low mood and energy, constant daily painful issues with my gut, and lack of motivation for nearly 40 years. This was 2 years ago when I made a complete change in my eating habits and started down the path of Zero carb.within the first few weeks, the changes were tremendous. He is like he was reborn into a puppy again. No more pain, or sleeping around all day b/c hes in pain, super happy and mentally excited to go out and perform tricks and work. Its a life changing experience for him and Me. This food is damn expensive, but you know what... Not only do I need to feed him half as less as the "other mainstream " food, but the change in him is worth every penny. and he goes to the bathroom easily now.Hes approaching 12 years old , and Visionary's Low carb High protein, high fat Dog food, has been the Cure that quite literally, made him a puppy again.

Tried this kibble a while ago because of the cleaner ingredient label and step up in quality. While kibble is not my favorite we used it to transition our rescue dogs eventfully off kibble all together. We have very picky eaters, they loved the kibble for a couple weeks then they would stop eating without broth or freeze dried organ toppers. Its expensive for the amount you receive verses other lower quality kibble brands but that's the trade of sometimes, and depending on the diet your dog needs the high protein may or may not be an issue. I do like the Visionary brand and the kibble option it give dog owners.

My pooch, 68 pounds, loved this. She is extremely picky, and I have tried many...usually 1 ingredient food. She also has many allergies.I purchased this bag in May, but opened it for the first time last night. I mixed less than a cup of this, with her 1 ingredient food, which she usually eats, but is not enthused. This food, she scoffed down! I was SO hapoy!A couple of hours after her dinner, her abdomen got distended, and she was obviously extremely uncomfortable.I woke up at 3AM, to vomit all over the bed...this morning I found it on the couch, and her dog bed as well. My pooch has NEVER vomited any other food. She will be 6 in November.I called her vet, who advised me what to give her for her tummy. The Vet, also told me to stop feeding her this! Which I already knew.Before she got ill, I actually ordered another bag, because I NEVER saw her that enthusiastic over ANY food before. After I cleaned off the entire bed, at 3AM, I attempted to go back to sleep, but cancelled my second bag, after the cleanup.This morning, I found smaller globs of vomit on the couch, and her dog bed. She has been lethargic, and looking really depressed all day. She would eat nothing this morning; not even a piece of chicken.When she scoffed the food down last evening, I went ahead and ordered another. At about 5AM, I cancelled the order.The bag is thrown away in the trash. I would never put anyone's song in such possible danger.After I ordered, then cancelled the second bag, I began to read reviews. It seems like all the good ones were on top. Then, a plethora of people saying how ill their dogs became, after eating this.Another issue is the expiration date. All that was visible, was: 03/The rest of the date was stamped on the black portion of the label, so not at all visible. It could have been expired when first purchased!Yup...I should have listened to ALL of the reviews!She is a huge Terrier Mix.
