does this work for big dogs and little dogs

Good morning Linda: I have two Golden retrievers one is a large 115 lbs 6 year old and the other Golden is 10 month's old about 65 pounds, I use this product for both dogs. Keeps them each at a window in my midsize car. In addition, If I am only traveling with one dog I attach the zip line across the back seat so my dog can move window to window as well as lay on the back seat. I have used this product for 6 years now, I am very please with it. Hope this helps. Have a nice day!

My very sneaky dog has found a way to undo the tether by stepping on the seatbelt release button. Any suggestions?

You may want to try using a seatbelt release cover. These covers were designed to prevent little kids from being able to push the release button while being seatbelted. They are very easy to use and available in several different styles.

How wide is the seatbelt clip? does it fit a 1994 jeep seatbeat reciver?

The Kurgo Direct to Seatbelt Tether will work with both Type A (7/8") and Type B (1") style seat belt system. It works great in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We do not recommend use with Volvo.

It adjusts from 15 to 22 inches long.
